Both fights has some very telling reality, they say that oscar was weight drained during his fight with the pacman; while juan was not on his weight class when he fought floyd...

to whom should we give more props, manny or floyd?

    your pick guys...:hat

I give Manny more props becaue where he started ..Oscar should have paid the fine and came in confortable ..Manny was a slight under dog ..Can you find anyone who saw MW as an under dog in his fight ?

It's obvious...Pacquiao was as big an underdog as Marquez was, there is defenitley more merit in Pacquiao's victory.

The major difference here is that the vast majority of people picked the larger man in both fights, however Pacquiao stopped De La Hoya whereas JMM got a hiding.

It's not Pac's fault Oscar ate bambi for training camp.

It's not easy either way, and it's probably more case-by-case.

And still, JMM went up 2 weight-classes from a class that was somewhat questionable for him. Oscar went down half a class from Forbes (catchweight of 150).

:lol:, why are you guys so defensive about the whole "underdog" thing. I had Pac winning this fight, it wasn't that hard a choice either. Like Freddie himself said, ODLH was old slow and gunshy. Mix that with young, fast, and agressive and what do you get?

Manny. Altough DLH might have been drained, I am starting to think it had less to do with weight draining and more to do with his slowing reflexes, Manny was still supposed to lose and pulled out a ko.

Floyd was supposed to win. He was gifted in every way over Juan.

MP/ODLH had more weight. Before the ODLH fight, the majority of fans didn't give MP a chance. MP proved them wrong. Before the FMJ/JMM bout, the majority picked FMJ. They were right.
