Well its almost 1 week away before the Mundine & Geale show rolls into sleepy old Tazzy (no pun intended Marcus) With Mundine set to be the main event above the hometown hero he will be sure to ruffle some feathers and get a few more thousand punters offside. Geale is taking a shot at the IBF pan pac MW title while Mundine appears to be doing f#&@ all with his teams choice of opponent. Lets hope Mundine has been working on his evasion skills as he will need them to dodge the hundreds of missiles launched at his noggin. :bbb While the winners of these fights look to be a forgone conclusion its the after fight announcements that could be of most interest. Lets hope Mundine VS Geale will be set for early next year and another huge fight for aussie fans is dished up. So as always who's going to pay for this fight, see it at the pub or snub it completely?:think
Geale is now fighting Samir Barbosa http://www.boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=264760&cat=boxer
The guys ranking is crap but he has fought better fighters than the last guy :huh....whats doing with the late change and is it still for the IBF pan pac title?
Looks like he is used to travelling, goin 10 rounds with Gevor is decent. Dont know about a title fight now. All the guys are pulling out to fight Geale. Maybe the money isnt enough .
When i got mine a few weeks back said they were starting to pick up, but i dont think the ***** really cared what i was asking.
Do you know if Mundine and Geale doing any promo work in the days leading up to the fight other than press conference and weigh ins?
Looking more and more like a night to give a miss really. Barbosa might have fought some better opponents than Geale's previously scheduled opponent, but he lost to them!
No and no guys. Always been fasinated by Tent Boxing though - read books about it etc too. I think you fight in the Tent don't you Sapphire? Keep hearing of famous names who it turns out started fighting in the tent. Should start writing them down when I hear them - it would make for an interesting list. Sean Connell and Charkey Ramon are just two names that spring to mind, and there's a long list of aboriginal guys.
