This fight was an instant classic!

I almost forgot how exciting it was. I remember the build up to it and how no one expected what the outcome would be. There was nothing better then watching this fight live.

I would love to see them go at again some day.

Excellent fight and a very underrated amount of skill displayed in that fight.

It was a great fight. I watched that fight as well last night. Just an excellent fight. An all out brawl for the first 4 rounds and then an both fighters showing excellent boxing skills for the rest of the fight.

I've watched that fight more than any other, i had followed Pavlik since his pro debut. When I was young I decided I was going to follow two fighters religiously, one was Pavlik and the other was Dominic Guinn. So when Pavlik beat Miranda I basically exploded, and when he fought Taylor I was so nervous I felt sick. In the second round I was sweating and depressed. There were numerous times I got up thinking Pavlik was going to take him out and then when the knock out came I just went ape sh*t and my friends laughed at me. Great, great fight.

I also watched it recently and it got me to believe that Pavlik will beat Williams. His power is devastating and Williams is not a defensive wizard. If he eats a couple of right hands he is going down

This fight indeed had a wonderful build up, atmosphere and energy. Two young guys, undefeated, in their primes, and fighting for the belt. The more polished, arguagly better skilled, well known boxer and trainer (Taylor) vs the grittier, yet arguably hungrier 'brawler' from the midwest. Great story behind it, good fight, it lived up to its expectations while it lasted.

Really was a great fight I remember Pavlik had just knocked out Miranda and took shots that could knock out a horse in the process and Taylor had upset B-hop and beat some solid competetion in Ouma and Spinks got a draw with Wright in a seriously underrated fight. Was a great fight.

haha i feel ya man. and oddly enough, jermain is also a favorite of mine. so i went nuts when pav won and then almost instantly felt bad seeing jermain slumped in the corner.

i was resigned to my drink when pav got knocked down. it looked real bad and even though he shot up, i was just thinking to myself..."you got this far, now give a good account of yourself...just make it out of the round."

then in the third round when pav landed a right and walked him back to the ropes, my ass was hovering off the couch. what a fight.

You're making me want to find this fight and watch it again. It really is a good piece of MW title history.

Awesome clash of two middleweight titans. It's crazy how people forgot about Kelly's performance in this fight after losing to Hopkins. Can't wait for the Williams; it could be FOTY.

No ****in' doubt. TBH, I was sick from about Wed or Thursday of that whole week. Didn't go to work or nothin.

One thing about this fight, and bein' REALLY Kelly Pavlik fan that REALLY fans of "more perfect fighters"...let's say Mayweather (though I'm a fan of his too)... It's hard to describe the entertainment value of that fight. You start off excited.."It's finally here!! KP can do this!!"...the staredown at ring center and Smoger MAKING them touch gloves, then "ding" and one hellacious round 1 ensued with both havin' moments to give each's fans the "fire" in the belly.

Round 2...:verysad:barf:!:..."OH NOOOOOO!!!! HOLD GOD DAMN IT!!! ****IN' HOLD ON!!!! MOTHER ****ER!!!!" thinkin' all those assholes that had copied so they could paste "B-Hop X2, Wright, Ouma, Spinks....No ****in' way Pavlik can tie this dudes shoes!" WAS gonna think they were RIGHT!!! NOOOOOO!!!!

Round 3...Pavlik comes stormin out of his corner and commences to unleash hell on Taylor like nothing happened.

BUT, though you could feel the fight goin' Pavlik's direction, JT had his moments and one could only HOPE that he wouldn't land a twin to the shot that started all the trouble in round 2.

Round 7...Center ring Pav lands the signature 1-2 where he brought his right back in a "fist Pump" type motion :)p If you've watched enough Pavlik, you know that means jing-a-ling), then another 1-2 on the ropes, and hell on earth in the corner.

Literally one of the god damnedest emotional rollercoasters I have ever experienced, and a price can't be put on that type of entertainment.:deal
