    I'm wondering where this is coming from ... I think Alvarez needs more exposure before taking a step in making that fight ... He can make a buzz with a couple of fights against some reasonable fighters - atleast a fight against Berto to put his face out there to the public ... as of now Mayweather vs anyone has to be on PPV and it has to sell ... right now Mayweather vs Alvarez seems like a bust ... but hey people didn't think that Mayweather can produce 1m buys with Marquez.

    Three threads on this already i started the second one..:lol: anyway it seems like one possible matchup for Mayweather in the future there are also talks of a World Tour.

    You know cause Floyd said he would fight him......Oh yeah he didn't. This whole BS story was put out to hype up Alvarez. Guess what? It worked. Now everyone knows this kids name.

    I doubt it will happen...juss creatin more buzz...I remember when Floyd was talkin that **** bout fighting in the MMA or some ****..Aint gonna happen

    It could happen and it could be big ... and i'm sure that if anyone can do it, GBP can do it ... all Alvarez has to do is get himself in the spotlight ...

    if he takes this fight the man is actually a joke!
    Even a Berto fight would atleast be respectable.

    So you're saying that Mayweather passing on a fight against Alvarez (in a soccer stadium that seats 100k fans) to fight against someone like Berto?

    So Tszyu shouldn't have fought Hatton in that big ass arena full of 30k fans? ...

    The money is going to be there ... FLoyd's legacy is set and all of his other potential opponents are tied up ... if he wants to fight, why not ... it wouldn't even have to be on HBO. And please with the hating ... that fight would be huge in mexico ... and i'm sure the two will make noise.
