“The trainer here and the one in charge of the game plan is Santiago. I am in charge of other aspects but if they ask for tips I always give. I know Pacquiao very well (He worked JMM & MAB with Pacman) and I know his flaws. Pacquiao cannot fight going backwards. When he is attacked and pressured eventually he gets to the point where he doesn’t know what to do” Joe Chavez Cutman

    ON COTTO”S EYE CUT

“The wound is good, whoever did the the work, he did a good job on that eye. I have no worries on it re-opening. However if it happens, I have the perfect strategy to already fix it. I am anticipating anything in this fight and it will not affect Cotto” Joe Chavez Cutman

    ON DLH’S AND PACMAN

“Dlh was overtrained for that fight. He lost way too much weight. Cotto is a Bull though. Pacquiao is fast but Cotto has so much power and he is very strong. I think as the fight wears on that will be the difference maker”

I've been saying this for a while, Manny is very hittable esp. when he goes backwards. You could see this in all his fights. His last two fights are making him look greater than ever before. Great fighter, but I feel he is being overrated in some areas of his boxing abilities. We all know Cotto's weaknesses, but it seems everyone feels like Manny is invisible. They should start viewing more of his fights with Morales and JMM.

Pac sure as hell seems invisible the way he's slapping his recent string of bitches around. It's as if he's not even there. Good job, invisible is the right word:yep

You're almost right but he only looked hittable when he fought Morales and Marquez. If you didn't notice, those 2 boxers were able to fight backwards. Cotto is a pressure fighter and cannot fight backwards. Also, Pacquiao is different from Morales 1.

Dumbass.. Pacquiao of today is a more refined fighter than the Pacman that fought Morales in their first fight.

I agree if Cotto fights a smart fight he beats Manny pretty easily.

I def. dont see how Manny could back up Cotto, but you never know. That's why I believe if Cotto finds his way since he puts the pressure very well with fighters his size, things could look bad for Manny at times. Manny tends to stay open when he backs up or fires his shots as well and moves backwards. Thats why im saying his last two fights are what people are looking at, not his last 5 or 6 fights where he has look vulnerable at times. Some are saying Manny throws a lot of shots and Cotto gets cut easily. But then again I seen Cotto absorb Margaritos close to 100 hundred punches for almost 11 rounds and Manny getting cut easily as well.

As I said his last two fights, but then again you could also agree Cotto would have also been victorious over Hatton and DLH. Against JMM he got a decision were many thought he lost and scorecards were very close and even split scorecards were witness. JMM was floor 3 times in his first fight, but convince a lot of fans he deserve the victory. So that's a lot of rounds Manny must of lost to get a decision. That doesnt seem invisble to me and also when he fought Morales.:good

I think Pacquiao does well going backwards. He's more of a counter puncher then a pressure fighter at this stage so going backwards is not a bad idea cause if he comes forward with a bigger puncher in Cotto, Pacquiao will get ko.
