Barerra and Morrales were past their primes when Pacquiao beat them... Just about as much as Shane Mosley and Zab Judah were when Cotto beat them. De La Hoya was weight drained. Pacquiao got too much credit for beating an old fighter... Does anyone in their right mind think Cotto would have beaten a prime Shane Mosley? He just barely beat an OLD Shane Mosley! Ricky Hatton was overrated to begin with, he walked right into Pacquiao's punches... Not Pacquiao's fault. Hatton made it easy, and Pacquiao took advantage. But at least he did it in spectacular fashion, unlike Cotto, who had the most boring knockout victory in history against Alfonso Gomez. People say that Pacquiao is overhyped. That he is getting way to much credit for some of his wins, namely, the ones listed above, but my question is...Pacquiao might be...but Cotto isn't?
your an idiot. Not one of those things u said is even close to being true. You should stop logging in and take up chess.
Ask yourself this, who would you rather be going into this fight. Pacquiao with wins over Morlaes (Shot says Roach) Barrera (All Done says Roach) DLH (weight drained says roach) and Hatton or Cotto with wins over Clottey Mosley Judah and Quintanna who holds a win over middleweight challenger Paul Williams? I think I would rather be the guy going into this fight who is a welter weight and is more established as a welter weight.....
It wasn't epic. Pacquiao's destruction of Hatton was epic. Cotto's destruction of Gomez was...boring.
