If Vargas was ruined, Oscar would have ko Vargas alot earlier like in 4 rounds.

Okay this is a dumb thread ... Tito is one of the greatest boxers in the history of boxing ... he's arguable the best PR fighter in boxing's history ... and he's arguable one of the most accompished welterweights ever.

16 title defenses of his IBF welterweight title
9 consecutive years as a world champion
    3-weight class world champion
    He faced 16 world champion
    20-1 in title fights
5-times he's been named world champion.
    Beat 3 Olympic Gold Medalists
3 consecutive wins over undefeated champions
p4p champion (after his win over DLH and his brief MW run)
16 yr unbeaten streak with 40 consecutive wins ...
knockout to victory ratio of over 80%
Fought 5 hall of famers throughout his career (Sweet P, DLH, Hopkins, Winky, and RJJ)

The list goes on and on and on ... and to make things worse he accomplished a majority of this **** before he even turned 30 yrs old ... hell he retired after the Hopkins fight before 30.

Challenged for the title 6-times and is 5-1 4KO... no vacant belts ... (Blocker KO, Vargas KO, Reid KO, Joppy KO)

was the first to beat Vargas, DLH, Reid, Oba Carr (who was a helluva fighter) ... first fighter to knockout Joppy ...

One of only a handfull of welterweights to go on and win a middleweight title ... unified titles in 2 weight classes ... attempted 3 ...

How the **** is this man overrated?

Yuri Boy Campos was like 55-0 and looked at as the next Chavez ... but to his credit he has had a pretty good career, winning championships, fighting great fighters and winning a ton of fights.

And who's fault was that? Tito's fat ass was worshipped like a God so he figured, hey, let me make a cool 10 million dollars at a weight where I don't have to put the time and work in at the gym. And to top it off, he he was a pound over and had to lose it against Jones. If he's what you guys in PR call an icon then you can have him cause he ganked you with those pitiful performances and coming in out of shape and bloated:hi:

might want to check your math again Chief. He turned pro in 1990 and lost in 2001 (should have been 1999).
