Froch is a consumate professional, he reminds me of a perfectionist, he does everything in his power to make the most out of the tools he has.

There is no doubting his wins over Pascal and Taylor as being impressive because he had to fight hard to win both of them and Pascal is no walk in the park and neither is Taylor for that matter.

So thats 2 hard tough fights in a row and now he is going in with a guy who on paper is not tipped to beat Froch but as I have learnt over the years, we cannot always go by the form lines and by a fighters performance in his last fight.

So many examples of mistakes being made because of being drawn into the drama from a fighters previous encounters.

The fact still remains that Froch is undoubtedly one of the toughest SOB's to ever come out from the UK and I respect him as a fighter and as a champion and if he does win on Saturday despite all of my pro Dirrell posts, I will be the 1st person on here to congratulate him and it would be safe to say that out of everyone in this tournament, Dirrell is definitely a stylistic knightmare for Froch so if he can deal with that then he has to be given major props.

I havent seen Froch in with anybody who fights like Dirrell.
Dirrell is Dirrell you cant compare him to Roy Jones or Mayweather or other comparisons that I have heard.

Froch is going to be under extreme pressure being in his hometown and to perform good so I think it is safe to say that Froch will definitely be up for this one but can he beat someone who is just as hungry as he was before he was given a title shot. I believe this will be his toughest fight to date, and the same could be said for Dirrell.

After all is said and done lets just hope that nobody comes out with a bad injury

Ill stick with my pick for Dirrell to win the fight but Froch is coming to fight and fight hard and he is always in a good fight so I cant wait...

Froch has huge weakness in that his foootwork is painfully slow and he turns like a tank. If I was Dirrell I would exploit that and also the low left hand.

However I am still picking Froch by brutal KO.

DAmn I cant say who will win, IM hoping for Froch because I like that SOB. But Dirrel might be too fast and skilled for Carl. Lets wait and see, Goddamned IM in fire:bbb:bbb:bbb:bbb:bbb:bbb:bbb

Carl Froch, he doesn't have much skills but he has the wil and determination to win, he dug deep when he was being outclassed by Taylor, he also has an iron chin. Not alot of fighters have the heart and determination that Carl Froch has and that quality wil win him the fight.

Carl will start slow while the untested but tallented Dirrell wil come out with fast hands, I see Froch warming up between the middle rounds then unleashing his punches. TKO 6 for Froch.

All Dirrell has done so far is building up his pro resume...if he had just been in the ring with a real quality opponent and went 12 rounds...then it would be easier to predict the outcome of this upcoming fight. He obviously has some great skills...but impossible for me to predict him as a winner when he never has fought 12 rounds or been the the ring with a top class opponent.

Good man! If Dirrell wins then IMO he well deserves it because I haven't seen anyone in an easy fight against Froch. Just so long as both guys come out of it safe and there are no dodgy decisions / stoppages. I hope whoever wins, wins clean.

Why not? Direll tends to fight going backwards so Froch will look like the aggressor and will have a hyped up home crowd roaring whenever he lands or nearly lands a punch. Very easy to envisage Froch taking a decision imo.

i just think that dirrel will start quicker and win much of the early rounds and if it goes the full 12 i dont know if he would of done enough to get the w
