Can't believe you think barker could beat mundine... that is clutching at straws, I'd like to see domestic fighters do well but until he fights macklin he should stay domestic
Froch was small fry and bar the 12th round against taylor he still would have been. As for pavlik he wouldn't walk through mundine neither would sturm - mundine is elusive when he needs to be (see echols, green etc)

I'm getting bored of trying to convince people that they should appreciate mundine (especially australians), he is one of my favourite fighters to watch in both style and attitude, I agree he has fought cans and continues to do so but this is intertwined with live opponents, with excellent performances and is common practice in boxing. It is a business and he does well, I believe he gets little sponsorship money or support so he can be his own man which is admirable. Even if it's a cash out fight he will get a shot on the world stage again because I think his ego would not let him retire without another crack at the top.

You do realize Hopkins had around 90 amatures fights and won numerous amature titles. He boxed from the age of 7 untill around 17! then came back to the sport!

Mundine never hadd no amature, there a BIG difference!

 

Well there is a misconception that he didn't. Can you give me a reference?

 

for his fans i hope so but i doubt it.he will not fight Sturm or Pavlik hope they have a unification bout then he will fight

Anything I've ever read about Hopkins tends to point to him havin his first boxing experience in Jail, definately not starting as a 7 year old
