well you called him a "german hater" and all he said sounds reasonable. thats an insult too imo. after all, if the german media thought it should at least have been a draw, then something was wrong, no doubt.
i said i didn't even really watch the fight. when will you deserting dickrider of the anti-germany bandwagon finally stop to spread propaganda yourself? i only need to know one thing: a couple of different opinions on the outcome of the fight while most agree it wasn't that clear. on the other hand there's the unitas-opinion calling the fight a robbery.
Bergeron did fine with his straight left - but not enough to win - he was to inactive to. Boring... By the way - I'm scared that because of valuev' s height advantage to wlad, he will also somehow make the fight with wlad boring - but sure wlad will win. (TKO or KO I sure hope).
I don't blame Germany because there are bad decision anywhere (Lewis-Holyfield I anyone?) but the scores were horrible nonetheless. Also note that when they did a brief summary of the fight, the did NOT show the only time when either fighter was stunned, which was when Valuev's knees buckled in the second round from a Bergeron left hand. Valuev wasn't hurt but it should've definitly made it to the highlight.
Valuev won the fight, no doubt about it. Some people on here seems to be robbed of their brains though.
look, germany has a very very bad reputation when coming to fairness!! if the german tv thinks it could have been a draw and you consider that german tv have a working relationship with valuev...........then something looks fishy!!!! is this unitis says he thinks it was a robbery (which this very well could be) and some others agree, then he is stating a valid opinion. calling him a "german hater" is totally discredeting him..........and an isult. so if he comes back with insults..........what are you crying about???
Yeah, but germany is the mecca of corrupt boxing and protected champions. See King arthur. Good thing bergoron didnt knock him out, then the germans would of gassed him.
Yes, Bergerons left hand would have done it for him but as you said he didn't box enough. He was flat footer and after takeing punches from Valuev, he tried to jump in with a straight left/right hopeing it would land on the chin. Bergeron won the first rounds becouse he wasn't so flat footed and was boxing, but he seemed to give it up.
