would you agree jt has to fight the perfect fight and AA can make a mistake or two?

from a lot of these threads, i sense that many believe jt can only win if he fights the perfect fight. it's weird when you consider all the advantages he has over AA. aa can afford to lose rounds and make a few mistakes because of his power. goes to show boxing really is mental.

Abraham's power is good, but we will see how it travels with him up to 168. Abraham did destroy Miranda at 166, but Miranda doesn't exactly have the world's best chin. Taylor's chin is pretty good, its his conditioning that is key. If the weight was the real issue, than maybe he (Taylor) can fight a good fight, and still have some gas left in the tank at the end of the fight.

This is a whole new world for AA. We dont even know if his power will be the same or even if his conditioning will be effected. AA can not afford to make any mistakes against JT. You seen what happened in the Miranda fight. Honestly and truthfully Miranda won that first fight between him and AA, but they robbed him due to the fact he was fighting in AA homeland. So just compare that to JT. JT will make him pay if he slip up like AA did with miranda. All the pressure is on AA.

JT can afford to slip...BUT..if he slips while hes tired, Goodnight Mr. Taylor. Hes gotta fix the stamina issue.

As I mentioned in a different thread earlier, AA can be down 11-0 in the twelfth round and still win the fight with a brutal KO.

In his next fight, he faces a man who has twice snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.

So this one isn't over till the last bell sounds.

In answer to your question, Yes.

AA has a great punch, so if he can land flush on JTs jaw perhaps 15 times, then JT shoulld go down for the count

as soon as taylor lets his opponent get the upper hand, it's all downhill from there, he's mentally ****ed. if he can do to abraham what he did to hopkins and wright i.e use his reach and size to his advantage and basically match them punch for punch and then some, i dont see why taylor cant win an easy UD.

Hello radab, I was being sarcastic somewhat mate. The thing is NONE of us know how his power is going to carry up to 168. Judging from Miranda vs AA 2 looked destructive:good Hey what is going on with Celtic and Rangers? Heard they want to merge with the EPL or something?:huh

I just have a funny feeling that AA is going to get waxed. For along time I felt that JT would dominate the fight then fall apart late. but there is one thing that always seems to happen in JT fights. He hurts the guy that he is fighting BAD in the early part of the fight then lets them off the hook. I for some reason cant shake the feeling that AA want be let off the hook and will get stopped early.

Taylor needs the perfect fight because AA is dangerous throughout and Jermain's whole career is on the line. It's gonna take all of his mental and physical effort to win, and if he does, it will give him the confidence to go far in this tournament.

Abraham has really great combinations with lots of power. Taylor can't afford to make a mistake.

Early stoppage is unlikely because of AA's high guard and JT's reluctance to go all out because of fear of running out of energy if he doesn't finish his opponent. In my opinion, he could have taken Froch out when he had him down, but there was that apprehension that he's had since the 1st Pavlik fight.
