After watching the fight and interview. Cannot believe Froch got the decision. Im actually ashamed of my country. The man missed out on a world title, and ruined his undefeated record. Man im ****ing pissed, and im a Froch fan from England.
Me too. I was particularly impressed with how he handled himself after the fight. That robbery was bad enough to warrant him really cracking the shits and making a scene.
Froch showed what a terrible boxer he is, and Dirrell had too much respect, and should have capitilized on his superior speed alot more. It was a gift decision, but it was a terrible fight, and none of them will win anything from here on.
Dirrell fought well. That deduction was BS but i thought dirrell should have still won the fight. Anyways you're right, i became a fan of dirrell tonight. I think he just needs to stay off the ropes more often cuz he can outboxed his opponent with his speed.
Same here im a fan of his now.. Was really pis*ed off when the decision was announced! A had Dirrell up by 4 points.. N now hes got Abraham next.. Feel sorry for the lad.
Im in the very small minority on here who thought it was close! But if dirrell is to become the next best thing since slices bread, he has to throw more shots! That in my eyes is what cost him tonight, that and his clinching/running. Hes cleary got talent but he needs to do more in the ring.
Bad points: dirrell was on the ropes a little too much, backtracking and held his hands high trying to evade leaving himself open for some sneak shots. However there were many good points: I felt Dirrell clearly had the superior hand speed, kept Froch off rhythm with his stance switching and caught Froch flush many times. Froch was punished many times trying to come inside. Clear win for Dirrell in my opinion.
agreed... he could have knocked froch out if he just put his punches together more often. but he will def be back and he will be a tougher match for AA next round for sure
