Couldn't agree more. Even with the "running" Dirrell landed the more damaging shots. This decision was completely ridiculous.

One thing I just noticed, why wasn't there mention of compubox? I'd like to see some stats on this fight. Does showtime not compubox?

In those rounds of inactivity as you called them, Dirrell was still throwing and landing more and cleaner at that. Like I said, I agree that he held and moved way too much, but unfortunately, aggression can only be counted as the end all be all of a round if there is something that comes out of that aggression. In those rounds, the only offense that was coming from Carl coming forward was him getting countered, jabbed or led coming in.

And even if Dirrell was holding (which he was), he was punished for it. Froch may have been frustrated, but frustation does not allow you to bend the rules. There were multiple times he could have been deducted in this fight. Just because the "other guy" is also doing it doesnt make it okay.

Im sorry, but scored correctly, there is no possible way to argue 7 rounds to Froch. There just isnt.

    Dane...commitment to win the fight?

And I am not exaggerating anything. He threw more punches. He landed more punches. He landed more clean punches. He hurt Froch on 2 occasions. That is outboxing him. How is that an exaggeration?

And yes...we will continue it later, in a much better plane of existance...

I had it 6 -6 with the point being taken off off for dirrell giving froch the win.
During the middle rounds froch would come forrward jab move jab..dirrel would then either jab himself or dance off to another corner.
In the judges eyes froch is the man coming forward attempting to throw punches(of which he did have dirrell staggered and holding for dear life) while dirrell loks to be prancing about. This is what cost him.

yes froch should have had a point deducted which would have made it a draw in my eyes...if it had gone to dirrell i would not have complained. It was an awful fight, best left to the archives!

The reason Americans don't want to fight in your shithole country is because of the corrupt-ass referees and judges. How that ref could constantly acknowledge the incredibly dirty rabbit punching, hitting on the break, and elbows that Froch was throwing and then have the nerve to not only not take a point away for any of it after about 50 warnings but take a point away from Dirrell is absolutely criminal. There was ample reason to disqualify Froch in the fight, but at no point did the ref even appear to give two shits that Froch was throwing illegal blows for half the fight and never even looked as if he was willing to take a point away. I mean hell, he ****ing tossed him to the mat and at one point threw a ****ing hammer-fist to the back of Dirrell's head. If anyone saw that fight as anything but a corrupt gift in the backyard of a **** fighter, then they are an idiot.

Exactly Froch is allowed to rabbit punch atleast 100 times, hip tosses, elbows. Hell he even held onto the ropes a few times when he was nailed good. It also seemed to me like the crowd was alittle closer to the ring then usual his mother, sexy ass but LOUDMOUTH girlfreind and his brother where basically inside that ****ing ring.

I take it youve never watched robin reid vs sven ottke in germany.
I think that will teach you a few things about corruption!

Dirrell and froch were as bad as each other...clinching and rabbit punching.
both should have been DQd if thats the way you wanna go!

You are aware the judges were all foreign and NOT from england, and the ref was from panama...

the point deduction cost Dirrell the fight because he lost the 12th round.
