I remember how fair ODLH vs STURM was.

So they should stick to fighting in their homelands and label the others as cowards for not crossing the pond?

Yes, American fighters should not fight overseas because

    1. Boxing is not big overseas and they will not make money over there anyway
    2. Boxing in America is so big right now that they don't need foreign fighters to make the competition tough and interesting
    3. American fighters will always get robbed overseas, just like Taylor was against Abraham

    :-(

Seriously, it's not as if robberies don't happen in the US. The hometown fighter will always have the advantage, it sucks but that's how it is.

Americans seem to struggle anytime they go overseas anyway. Only a handful of American fighters have actually won big fights overseas in the past few years or so. They normally enjoy the luxury of fighting on home soil. The truth is that America has given visiting fighters the shaft on more than one occasion. Somebody already mentioned Foreman/Schulz (horrible) and need I mention De La Hoya/Sturm. I don't blame the German fighters in particular for staying over there and as far as the Engish go, look no further then the treatment Robin Reid got from the referee against Lacy. Even worse was how the hometown ref practically forced Jorge Barrios to take chances by penalizing him twice for phantom fouls only to have Barrios suffer that gruesome lip injury and lose.

Froch was a complete joke tonight. All he did impressively was take clean punches to the face.

It's sad to watch boxing fans defend robberies like the tools they are. Who gives a damn where the robberies are taking place?

It would be interesting to see which round Froch got from the judges.
