Let me remind you that AA just went 11 and 7/8 rounds against a guy who lost 3 of his last 4 fights, and got KOed in 2 of those losses. what the **** is wrong with you people. Abraham tonight looked like a guy who is begging to get knocked out. If Jermain wasn't to shot to simply step over and throw a right hand, AA would have been out before the end of 8.

 

Let me remind you that the guy you're talking about had Pavlik on ***** street, to the point that one or two landed shots more would have had him a TKO victory early in the fight.

I agree, Taylor is bull**** as a fighter these days, but Abraham showed tonight he's not just power. Has Pavlik ever shown that?

I used to flip-flop on this fight since it was proposed, but i'm leaning towards AA at this point. AA landing would make a mess of pavlik.

I think KP is smart enough to step over and throw a right hand, and that is all this shot to **** version of Taylor needed to do. If you genetically engineered a fighter for the purpose of making Pavlik look like godzilla on steroids, you couldn't do better than Arthur Abraham. You guys hyping this as some kind of big win for Abraham make me want to puke. You are vile, disgusting, and delusional. Abraham won because Jermain Taylor is shot, and that was clear by round 3.

 

stop crying! it is very clear what is happening here, Taylor was the card you always played when claiming that Pavlik has the better resume. You ran out of arguments. Especially since
Gevor, Eastman, Ikeke > Bronco McCart, Zuniga.

and you can't deal with the possibility that more good names will be added to that in Dirrell (will be a tough match-up) and Froch (AA clear favorite).

Taylor might not be at his best anymore, but he is still a very good fighter, that was 14 seconds from taking the championship belt from Carl Froch. The impressive thing about the fight was, that AA was winning on points, closely but clearly, something a lot people considered impropable.

Taylor did not throw more rights, because he was afraid of getting tagged himself. After all those fights you still don't seem to have grasped that AA is most comfortable being a counter puncher. But that is what AA does, he discourages fighters from taking risks. Besides Gevor and to some extent Oral, I haven't seen anybody not fighting AA timidly in the later rounds.

Taylor put Pavlik on ***** streets, Pavlik looked like Drunken Sailor and was on edge to being knocked out.

AA out smarted and out boxed and knocked out same JT who was doing just fine against that clumsy plodder from Ohio.

 

Pavlik fought hopkins at 168,he fought brave,but abraham is moving up from 160lbs and he looked sluggish against taylor and landed a lucky shot,pavlik is a accurate puncher and his shots would go staight through abrahams guard along with pavlik's bodypunching.Pavlik has the stamina and heart to get up and ko his opponent,i think if abraham fought pavlik we will all see him taste the canvas for the first time,but from what i seen last night i think pavlik would punish him soo bad that he would quit or his corner would throw n the towel.

 

Certain Pavlik fans seem to have lost touch with reality.

 

Abraham would lose some rounds early, then start to get to Pavlik, resulting in a late knockout.
