    he's done.

call it a career. and a damn fine one. good on ya jermain. you always took on the best and went out on your shield when you went out.

it has been a pleasure my man. i hope the good southern graces of arkansas greet you well and the fish bite for ya. its over. don't risk your health, please

JT has shown us some great fights. He has also proven that he is a warrior and will face anybody. I just hope he hangs em up for good.

iam not exactly a fan of taylors but for some reason i dont want to ever see him get ko'd like that again.

i respect the guy alot and i honestly feel bad for him. He had a great run and should have alot of gwop stacked up from past mega fights, he should retire knowing that on his best day he was a brilliant fighter.

    Jermaine "Bad Intentions" Taylor

In my opinion it was clear by the 3rd round that the Jermain Taylor of old no longer exists. I've posted a number of questions for anyone who wants to debate that on a couple other threads, so I won't go into it again here.

As much as I like Jermain Taylor, if he chooses to continue, I will not watch his fights. I have no desire to watch the sport we all love turn JT into the next Bobby Chacon.

Yea, I feel you man. I've been a Taylor fan since I got into boxing. It was tough watching him lose against Pavlik the first time. I didn't get to see his fight against Abraham but the KO was brutal. Tough to see Jermain go out like that but lets hope he retires.

I've always like Germain; a good fighter and a good man. I'd also like to see him hang 'em up and find something to do other than get in the ring. His health isn't worth a few more paydays.

    Amen.

It just goes to show how difficult it really is to rebuild the fighters that suffer from the late brutal ko's. They just don't seem to ever comeback and unfortunately, they seem to suffer another brutal ko defeat as well. Sometimes they comeback from 4th round ko's and stuff, but just not those 10th and 12th round ones. Taylor is just another guy to join the list.

i hear that. he's been stopped in very harsh fashion 3 times now. he needs to re-evaluate whether continuing in this tourney is a smart move health wise. ****!!!!!
