Number 43 ranked LuJaun Simon won about the same number of rounds Jermain Taylor did only Simon lasted the distance. Translation: JT is more shot than the deer in my freezer.
AA beats opponents with his defense!!!!!rison Out of few hundred punches thrown, JT prolly landed maybe a dozen or so!!!!! :wall Then of course KO was just an icing on the cake!!!!!:beat
hes a half man this mongloid, litterally. and he fought an already damaged JT comin with 3 losses in a row..
I don't want to discuss the potential outcome of Kessler vs. Abraham right now, but would you bet that Kessler wins against AA? I'm not sold. Do we really know what is going to happen when AA connects? :think
That deer probably has more IQ than you could dream of. Jermain Taylor: “I am a little hurt,” said Taylor after the fight, “but that comes with the territory. I was in the best shape of my life.” Now SHUT THE F*CK UP!!! :happy :hi: :thumbsup :thumbsup :rofl
This was an excellent version of Jermain. He mixed intelligent boxing with calculated aggression, didn't fade too badly (Abraham was breathing heavier in the championship rounds) and didn't really make too many stupid mistakes. Abe was just too good, too powerful.
i must admit, i didnt much like him b4 but.....this fight made me a fan, he fought a good (given his style) against a good, determined fighter i give him lots of props...
Abraham isn't just a puncher, dude. Watch his fights. He takes the measure of an opponent's power to see what they're packing (as he has utmost faith in his iron whiskers), and to lull them into a sense of security. He is not easy to hit when he doesn't want to be hit. When he decides to go into defensive mode, he's virtually unhittable. And the comparison doesn't end with the tight, impenetrable turtle shell. He can dodge and slip punches as well if not better than Wright. :deal They're both guys who like to force a slow pace by encouraging but nullifying the opponent's offense. His jab isn't far behind Winky's, either. In both cases, it's a stiff face-puffing punch in its own right, not just something thrown half-heartedly for the sake of throwing.
I noticed that, too. It was much less about Jermain faltering down the stretch, as many expected, as it was about Abraham flat out outboxing him once his typical feeling-out phase ended. I like Abraham, and was still surprised at how well he did- especially when he decided to drop his hands and taunt Taylor into throwing, and then had the upper body movement to make Taylor miss. I'd figured Arthur would turtle shell it the whole way through, so it was a shock to me to see him pull that off even though the shell was blocking most of Taylor's offense.
AA is 5"9! How is he a midget?? some people are ******ed!!! I guess james toney is a gnome, hes a 5"9 heavy-weight! That little fat *******
