If all reports are true and JT has suffered a concussion or brain hemrage can he be replaced ? The only person that comes to mind is Allan Green who else would be a suitable replacement ??

Kelly Pavlik could go up in weight just as AA did?
Or is he scared of finally meeting King Arthur?

pavlik isnt going to sacrifice his MW title or a williams fight to join the tourny.

and can we leave the 'scared' comments out of boxing posts?

detracts from a poster's knowledge as soon as they use that word....

I don't get why people think we need an alternate for Taylor. He looked good in this fight before the KO in the last 20 seconds. He may have been losing, but I thought he was extremely competitive, arguably even winning going into the 12th (although i didn't think so).

If people are going to get upset every time a fighter gets outclassed or KO'd during this tournament, then they should tune in to other boxing, because BOTH are going to happen.

they would never accept a guy like Bute in this tournament. Too dangerous.

Taylor should not drop out of the tournament.

The man has been Ko ed 3 time in his last 5 fights ..If this was any other fighter we would be calling for his retirement ..

Bute-Andrade II winner in a perfect world which can happen they fight only next month right around the time Kessler-Ward fight so why cant Ward who was scheduled to fight Taylor fight Bute or Andrade who actually are better Super Middleweights then JT to begin with ?

It doesnt matter if he was competitive he was the same with Pavlik and Froch but now in 5 fights we have seen this guy scrapped of the canvas. If he was fighting bums then who cares but now he has a severe concussion and 3 brutal KO losses recently going up agianst 2 more fantastic fighters.

They will most likely offer the spot to another US fighter, therefore Allan Green should get the 1st call or obviously Andrade if he beats Bute.

I'm 100% sure that Lucian Bute would jump in immediately if given the chance, once the options above fail !!

I'd like to see Bika in the mix

Bika Froch and Bika Kessler would be brutal

That is sad if that is the case. I was not a big fan of Taylor early in his career but he has fought much more bravely in recent times. He was a warrior against Abraham he just came up short. If he can't go. It would be nice to see Bute, Bika, Green, or Mundine move into the tourney.

What about IBO champion Bika he gave Calzaghe a tough fight he is proven for this tournament I would love to see AA vs. Bika tangle.
