Do you think Dibella has done a good job with Taylor?

Taylor needs to retire, but he honestly shouldn't have been in this tournament. After the Pavlik fights, he should have been on the "Hasim Rahman 2004" plan where you fight some bums, gain some confidence, & build yourself back up.

Agreed! Taylor cannot compete with ward, dirrell, aa, or kessler..he is finished when it coms to fighting the top guys and i hope he retires tomorrow!

According to Rafael, Taylor got the fattest paycheck of all 6 fighters in R1 (1.300.000 US Dollars), that coming back from a KO loss, which is excellent management by DiBella. Also, Taylor was given the chance to get 3 big paydays on Showtime television vs. 3 top guys to get back on track with his career. It was an offer he couldn't refuse, and he did look better in those later rounds and was in top shape. He just got caught when he opened up, very unfortunate.

Hope he's OK and can continue, he's not shot or anything... I think his stamina improved a bit (looked better in the 12th than Abraham) and Andre Ward is coming, who's not a puncher. So he should continue.

Who else can taylor fight? To justify the money he wants he needs to fight top twenty guys at least. He can beat the likes of Lacy, but... from then on up?

It ends badly. Maybe he should target Jones Jr.

Prizefighting = financial standpoint. Unfortunately. But he might have a tune-up now if the schedule allows that.

I think so considering where his career has gone ..The fact that he still gets him the big fights .Great job by Dibella thus far .

Dibella did fine - the Lacy fight was a very good call risk/reward wise & got the confidence back fine, then he damn near won the Froch fight.

At that point the question becomes how long you want to continue. If you see only another couple of years, the financial angle + "immediate redemption" of the tourney is a fair call. My only real criticism is that he does have a very tough schedule with AA/Ward/Kessler, but that might have been trade off for the $$ and coming off a loss.
