I agree, Direll will come again, but he'll learn from this expereance in that he's got to put in a 12 rd effort & not ponce off during any round, he un-did any advantage he had made for himself with all the holding & wining, i'am sure that influenced the judges in what were all some-what close/messy rounds, he's got to leard to boss a bit:smoke

Froch couldn't hit dirrell without rabbit punching during clinches and off the break. Just a dirty bar fighter with heart and no skill. Dirrell won the fight easy by HITTING FROCH flush the whole fight. To see some of you talking about the way dirrell was fighting is just laughable. Nomatter how the fighters are fighting you have to give the rounds to the person who is HITTING THE OTHER PERSON FLUSH. Froch's homefield advantage was having the fans cheer while he punched at air, which made some of the idiot judges think he was landing. When they showed replays you might have saw 1 out of 10 of frochs wild combination landing on dirrell on the ropes. This was a poor decision. Froch is a dirty fighter with no honor to go with his will and grittyness. Can't get him so I get dirty was froch's mentality and it's what kept it from being a worse one sided blowout. Had the nerve to say he won when he was getting his head snapped back on a consistant basis and froch was almost knocked out twice.

The flush shots dirrell hit froch with were blatant and froch went atleast 8 rounds without hitting dirrell 5 times in any of them. They did right by not showing a punchstat because there would really be no dispute about this robbery.

FROCH DID NOT TOUCH DIRRELL'S FACE MORE THAN 20 TIMES THIS WHOLE FIGHT.

As others have pointed out, Dirrell didn't come to win. I had him slightly ahead of points. It was a hometown gift, but by no means robbery. That is crazy talk.

If you want to beat the champ, in his backyard, you need to own the match. Not pot shot him every now and then.

Dirrell had plenty of opportunities to soundly beat Froch, but alas, he fought scared most of the time. Therefore Froch is still "champion".

The commentators were vastly biased towards Dirrell, and maybe this might have affected a few people.

It was quite evident from the get go, that Dirrell had too much respect for Frochs power. His inexperience showed, he lost his temper, and instead of owning the match - he fought like someone who tried to steal rounds.

Froch had as much respect for dirrell's speed and that's why he was so hesitant to throw at distance. He had to wait for clinches to actually land anything and most of those were rabbit punches.

No way in hell did froch win 7 rounds. He didn't even win 5 to me and that's being modest.

Froch tried to steal rounds when he cornered dirrell and threw 8 or 9 punches without landing but the crowd was cheering and influencing the judges. FROCH DIDN'T TOUCH DIRRELL'S FACE 20 TIMES FOR THE WHOLE FIGHT.

Wait, which country are you apologising for? Italy or Belgium? Or do you have dual Italian-Belgian nationality?

While we're at it, i'd like to sincerely apologise on behalf of our nation, for the unacceptably poor weather conditions we seem so to constantly offer. To all past, present and future potential Brit holiday makers goers, please lest it be known that our nation is truely, deeply sorry

You sir are a class act.

Froch lost that fight by several rounds, I could not comprehend the judges scorecards.

Respect or not. Dirrell was too fast most of the time. And no respect wouldn't have changed that fact.

No, he didn't win 7 rounds. I hardly think anyone won many rounds in this fight.

Froch didn't try to steal anything, but tried to hunt down Dirrell throughout, but was too slow and inaccurate most of the time to land.

Stealing a round is trying to win an even round at the end of it. Froch did none of the sort. He did the same thing from start to finish of each round. Chasing, and trying to land a KO.
