Dirrell is an inexperienced boxer...and he has been rocked a few times earlier I can understand why he was a bit cautious against Froch and also fighting away from home and never having been in a 12 round fight b4. He is certainly alot more brave when he talks than when he fights I think he learned alot from this fight and in the last 3 rounds he was outstanding. Hope he learns to stop all the running and will fight more in the future.
His style just sucks all *******!~ I mean I am going to be straight that man has no business even calling himself a champion the way he performed last night, Sure Dirrell had his moments where he looked like ****, BUT, Dirrell landed the cleaner more effective shots and won more rounds, thats how you win a boxing match.... How you get one stolen from you is by fighting in the back yard of a bogus champion and expecting the judges to do you right... Dirrell won the fight Croch got the nod, it was his back yard who didnt see this comming? I have no idea how anybody had Croch winning last night, I dont like Dirrells style that hit and dont get hit ****, you can ask anybody around here, I favor the man comming forward making it a fight... But I can honestly say that Croch was not effective comming forward and did not land more than two shots at a time while Dirrell was bustin him up with fluid combonations the entire night.... Sorry but the hit and dont get hit style got robbed last night a style that I hate to watch....
You would call a man that runs, ducks, falls, cries and hugs a champion over a man that goes out of his way to fight the best, has been in wars, and has never resorted to Dirrel style tactics? Froch looked ****, so did Dirrel, they both did because Dirrel refused to fight, Dirrel looked fast but mainly with his footwork, he refused to counter, barely threw anything, and landed 2 clean power shots all fight. I would be digusted and ashamed if I were a Dirrel fan, for the sake of boxing Dirrel fans should hang their fighter out to dry. If he does that against AA, I hope AA sparks him out.
Um, when Dirrel goes into panic mode, his eyes glaze over, and he does a triple hug and the bell sounds, that means he was very lucky.
I think Dirrell looked stellar in rounds 11 and 12. He fought like Froch had something he wanted. He should have been less content with showing evasive skill for 2.50 of the other 10 rounds and a few (crisp!) punches every round. If Dirrell learns from this his balance between defense and offense should improve.
Did he? I mean, I swore that Froch turned up to fight and walked away with his undefeated record and belt? Hows Dirrell? LOLLLLLLLLLLL
