Calzaghe super six

    its a shame the super six started once calzaghe retired. but what does everyone think on how he would do? im guessing hed win it with a 100% record. what do you all think?

    WOW! coulda been a great addition, but they don't need him...68 is very talent rich at the moment. Would of been exciting though!!

    ur right. at the moment the super middleweight division is kickinn!
    bit of a shame all these guys werent around 2/3 years ago.

    would have been interesting to see how calzaghe did against these guys. especially abraham at 168 and maybe even ward

    Calzaghe 118-110 Abraham or WTKO12, unleashing hell on a tiring AA to get a ref stoppage
    Calzaghe 117-111 Kessler
    Calzaghe TKO6 Froch, turning his face into a bloody mess, ref or corner stoppage
    Calzaghe TKO9 Dirrell, figuring out Andre's style(s) early and punishing for his serious balance issues as well as the mistakes he makes being so green and nervous, finally sending him down to the canvas by a 20-punch slap combo, then getting an "early ref stoppage" and Manfredoesque fanboy cries
    Calzaghe TKO10 Taylor, having troubles early getting caught by flush right hands but adapting and overwhelming Taylor to a ref stoppage
    Calzaghe 117-111 Ward, Andre switching to defensive mode early and having some success before Calzaghe would figure him out and turn the heat & 1000 punches on

    Calzaghe would be a heavier favorite than Kessler, almost making a tournament pointless. Just crown the winner already.

    I think Kessler would have a better chance this time as he already knows what Calzaghe is about (Calzaghe figured Kessler out during their fight in Wales) so he would be more prepared to do what it takes, but to be honest Calzaghe would win over everyone if he is at his best.

    i agree mate. kessler would have a better chance to beat him this time around. i do think he has the skill set to do it

    would be great if he came back for one fight, just to take on the winner of the tournament - would be some propper ££££££££££££££ in it.

    problem is that, that would be 3 years down the line, calzaghe would be 40, inactive, and have too much to lose. so many people would love to see him get beat.

    kessler would beat him now i think but the others i see no way they could win more than 1 or 2 rounds

    It would be great to see the winner of it all take on Calzaghe as a grand finale. Putting Calzaghe in the actual tournament is pointless since he's proven who and what he is. Him fighting the winner of it all, though, would be great. However, that will be well over a year, and I doubt at that time he'd have any interest to fight again, much less burn down to 168lbs.

    Calzaghe, although one of my least favorite fighters ever style wise, would win with a 100 percent record. for sure
