He definitely has a claim to this. Look at his record, and now his competition is very good also. Miranda (though I don't think much of him) and now Taylor, which is a HUGE win.

He doesn't have true one punch KO power. He punches are too sloppy and not very sharp/quick. He can badly daze anyone with one punch however, which is just as effective.

He has ended 12 out of his last 13 fights with ko or tko.
    That's kinda powerful.

Id like to see some people do some rankings right now p4p in terms of power, it doesnt have to be one punch power, it can be consistent power that just beats people down, like Cotto IMO.

Did Taylor or Miranda go down from one punch? No.

It took several punches, as usual. He is very heavy handed. But his is barely explosive at all.

Man it's great whats happening with boxing. The punchers are moving into control!

We got Sam and Waldo at heavy
    Wilson and Haye at cruiser
Miranda and Calzaghe at super middle
    Pavlik at middle
    Cintron at welter
    Manny at bantam

    Boxing is lookin up!

I'm sure I left out some names but yea. :happy

Pavlik has Trinidad 147-154 version type power. Heavy handed and he can hurt you. He doesn't have power like Jackson or Hearns of 154.

He has power, but there are harder punchers.

Good analogy. He's got "break you down" power. Not break you in half with one punch power.

    2) Pac man
    3) Ponce Deleon
    4) Pavlik

    I'm struggling going any further
