me too, I've not been to Denmark. It is only just properly dawning on me that Froch is in similar situation to Christopher Reeve in Superman II.

Even if he gets past one superman there's another one lining up to kick his arse. Fair play to him.

Mick is nuts, there isn't anyone who could fill 30k right now other than Hatton (who may not even be active?)

I know it sounds mad but 8000 or 9000 for Froch v Dirrell in a massive tournement is ok but i bet if Mick made John Murray v Kastidis that would get more then the above figure into the MEN Arena ! 30k is a aweful lot to sell too, like earlier post said put Murray , Barker in meaning ful fights on undercard then may fill MEN or 02.

If he loaded the undercard up to it's eyeballs, almost being willing to lose money on the show he MIGHT, and I mean MIGHT get close to 30k.

But in order to do so, he will have to include fighters that people give a damn about, no disrespect intended, but is anybody really that interested in Young Mutley, Adnan Amar or guys of that ilk.

Nobody really knows the potential ticket selling power of either Murray or Barker (say) because it has never been really tested - instead they are fighting at York Hall or Robin Park Leisure Centre.

He needs to have good fighters, in good fights - on Saturday there simply weren't any good fighters. There needs to be a willingness to match his guys up against each other. People aren't bothered about watching 30 odd fights, 7/8 will do, so long as the quality is right.

If Hennessey can put all his big name fighters on the bill in very good fights. Maybe Fury vs the British title holder plus Barker fighting for the vacant Euro belt or a fight with Macklin if the lad is stuck treading water, add the other good lads he has. Murray vs Mezzache. Amar vs a ladyshave.

The fight will be at a decent time of day hopefully so more casual punters will turn up.

Kessler is the definate outright far in front favorite to beat Froch but Froch can pull off a win. Kessler has faught one opponent and he lost that fight plus he never managed to drop JC and that looked real easy by the end of Calzaghes career.

    Who looks after Kessler now?

I refuse to vote on this and put my name to any of those options. My preferred choice would be "Given Kesslers popularity in the UK a crowd of 30,000 is not unthinkable. I am currently unsure as to the outcome of the fight but I know that Hennessy is a ****"

I can guarantee to everyone that this fight will take place in Copenhagen, not Nottingham.

The Parken National Football stadium will probably be the venue, and that's a problem in March in Denmark as it has a retractable roof like Cardiff.

Whilst Froch is big in Nottingham, he's not really big in the rest of the UK(outside hardcore boxing fans, who in reality, are few in number) Kessler is massive THROUGHOUT Denmark. I'm sure he could pull in 30,000+ bearing in mind a thousand or so travelling English and some Germans and Swedes from over the border

Froch has a maximum of maybe... five fights left?

The Super Six allows him to cash out with a big pay day, but we're talking maybe another two fights already. He'll come out with a loss against Kessler and, quite probably, a painful KO loss against Abraham.

That leaves him one fight in which to rebuild after two losses, then another two maximum when he'll be pretty unmarketable without a title or much appeal to the UK public.

Who's going to want to fight him for the sort of money Froch will be used to after the SS is over? What promoter will want to take on someone who could easily lead them to making a loss.

Carl better pick up his game.

    30,000 lol

Do 30,000 people know who froch is?

Hennessy cant even get Froch a tv deal yet he thinks he could draw 30,000 people. Not a chance.

The more you hear Hennessy speak it really does make u wonder why Froch hasnt realised he needs new management.
