Ummmmmm....several of us did? People attacked him all over this forum, and guys ont Youtube made videos about what complaining ***** he is. The American network, HBO, went out of their way to show how Martinez should have won the fight three times over (by DQ, KO and decision) during the introductory segment of Cintron's next fight against Angulo.

Some of you guys are really reaching grasping for straws. Stop pretending that people don't get work up about bad decisions when they happen in the US. ****, most of the time, boxing fans get pissed off about legitimate decisions.

People DID make a big deal about it. It just didn't get as much play because there weren't a bunch of nuthugger jackasses making crappy arguments as to why he actually lost the fight.

I don't think it was even a straight up robbery (114-113 Froch could have been a legit score), but 99% of the reasons I've heard why he won are straight up idiotic. Need to take the belt from the champ? Fought "negatively" instead of "positively"? Fought in a more aesthetically unpleasing manner? WTF, that's not how you score fights.

What is with these bull**** arguments being presented? Maybe, there are sooo many robberies that we couldn't possibly have time to create a thread for each one (well maybe some people do). Martinez was BY FAR the worst robbery I've seen since RJJ in the Olympics, actually worse because he won by KO and then on points but got a draw!
Again, even if there were worse robberies does that mean this one is okay because it wasn't AS bad?

To be honest I scored the fight to dirrell by one point, but it was really close and I could easily see froch winning by one round too.

What kinda annoys me though is the fact that showtime were ignoring the many jabs and hard hooks froch landed while praising dirrell for the same thing. So now the perception of how the fight went to a lot of fans are falsely skewed in favor of the american fighter.

In close fights there is no robbery.
