To be honest, I prefer him as the underdog as well. I prefer him doing better than expected. I think when people expect things then that's where they go wrong. The last time Pac was in a situation kind of like this was when he fought Morales the first time. Everyone expected Eric to lay down and it didn't go that way. And Cotto is definately not Morales. But then again Pac is a different fighter now than he was at that time. He has a much better arsonal. Pac of 09 and Pac of 04 are not even comparable.

Cotto is one of the least respected fighters out. A lot of people talk about Floyd having a huge following of haters, but it seems Cotto is always the underdog in his big fights. Everyone picked Judah over him, Mosely, Clottey, and even Quintana to beat him. I can't remember a fight other than against guys like Gomez, where the consensus was cotto would in. Yet he still has only one lost and has fought the toughest competition of any WW fighter.

Still, I can't help feel a bit nervous about so many people picking Pac by KO, I really do prefer Pac as the underdog. Oh well.[/quote]

I agree wholeheartedly. I don't like the fact that so many people are picking Pacquiao, because it will take some of the luster off is he does win...this is a more monumental task for him than it is for Cotto, in my opinion...Pacquiao should be the underdog across the board.

PAC is 4 to 1 underdog to Barrera - result PAC win TKO11

PAC is 2 to 1 underdog to Hoya - result PAC win TKO8

PAC is almost 3 to 1 favorite over Hatton - result PAC win KO2

PAC is 2 to 1 favorite to defeat Cotto - result PAC win ???? lol

It seems legendary trainer Angelo Dundee is rooting for Cotto to win... Dundee tries his expertise again with Cotto after failing with Oscar Dela Hoya...

I was thinking the exact same thing. He's almost gotten as bad with the emoticons as that Nallege fruit cake and his "lol's"
