Haye does not sustain his speed for 12 rounds. It might be a mismatch for 6-7 rounds but once Haye slows down and Valuev's punches start connecting Haye's durability and chin might get tested. But my prediction is different. I dont think Haye will come out guns blazing, he will come out cautious and save stamina to last 12 rounds, at the end winning a close UD.
****, just watched Holyfield vs. Valuev myself and noticed Valuev's waist is wider than Haye's shoulders. You would probably need a sledgehammer just to get through to the kidneys.
The problem with this analysis is that ALL OF VALUEV'S previous opponents were better boxers than him. Valuev was technically inferior to all of them. Yet it's very hard to win a fight against him. This will be the hardest fight in Haye's career so far. Just my 2c.
I Hope Haye will Knockout all in This Bull**** and Boring Heavyweight Division But i dont belive that he Tallllllk sooooooooooooooooo Much sorry dont talk Haye move your ass in the Ring and let see !!! Go Haye Go Go Go ^^
No at a point weight starts working against you i.e Valuev.. speed kills if you have power mike had great power but i think it was as much his speed as anything that made him so dangerous....well actually if he knew how to punch and put all his mass behind it butterbean " could probably load up a harder shot" due to the mass behind it. pac-man is a harder hitter for his size but if you mesured his pop next to valuev then Valuev would be the heavier hitter and yes it would be due to his size.:deal The mock thing started off with someone pages back saying valuev couldt hurt haye or something like that so i responded that if a 160 lber could put haye in serious trouble then valuev sure in the hell could KO him.
I think Valuev will look really bad in the first 3-4 rounds. Haye must be careful not to delude himself into thinking he should bet the farm and try to KO Valuev quickly. If Valuev can survive the first couple rounds he will get stronger and stronger in the later rounds, while Haye's stamina is a big question mark.
LOL! It's embarrassing how Haye's been built up, especially at HW. He better be careful, or else Goliath will land a few jabs and it's over.
I agree with the statement, but not the 1 minute video clip of the same footage over and over again....... I dont think Hayes chin was the issue in the Thompson fight, more fatigue. Haye clearly punched himself out and wont be doing that again in a hurry I dont know why but i have a feeling Haye might be able to actually Knock Val out. I am really not impressed with Val at all and i think shots to the body are the way to expose him...... Val does not genarally block head shots, he leans back and i think this is when Haye can attack the body and wear him down. I have a bet with a mate, I have £10 on haye and he has £10 on Val. But this is doubled if either opponent can score a KO or TKO. I am confident that at the very least i will win £10.
Valuev is as big as a house and who has he knocked out? Ruiz? No! If Haye is patient enough he can knock out the big slow Russian late as he tires.
I'd love to see Toney fight Haye. He'd make him look like an amateur while methodically tearing his a$$ up.
