Forgotten Classic: Ruddock vs Morrison *video*

One of the most bodacious left hook knockdowns I've ever seen from that fight. I never forgot it. Along with the very funny "Ruddock goes down like a pancake!' commentator line if I remember correctly (didn't rewatch just now). You know pancakes. They...just always go down?

Amazing left hook, shitty stoppage though. Who knows what would of happened if he made it out of the round with Morrison already tired.

 

Poor Razor. This guy is the only name guy that was knocked out by Dave Jaco.

 

i agree the stoppage seemed ****. i mean ruddock was responsive and at least trying to defend himself. probably wouldn't have changed the result, but he earned a little more time having regrouped from that hook. aslo the standing 8 just before looked a little premature also

Probably my favorite fight of all time. I loved heavies, and that was a great matchup with plenty of excitement. Definatly a fight worth rewatching.

 

Morrison was just about always exciting. A great hook and power but no chin. When he fought, you knew something was going to happen.

great fight..tommy was a knock you out are be knocked out trying typ fighter..you got to like a fighter like that.

 

Yep. Saw this 1 in the strip club years ago. Tommy also liked the stripper whores along with the booze and dope hence bad training habits!
