Ok i will give him credit, for cotto is still in his prime and hungrier than ever,But if pac loses can pacterds plz admit that pac was an overhyped overrated fighter with little skills that fought a mummy and a other overhyped fighter in hatton to get where he is today. Please agree!!!:deal

Not certain yet. This one is harder for me to commit to than Pacman's last two fights. I think I am still leaning 60/40 Pacman though. It's funny that a lot of posters can pick Pac easier for this than the last two, but I'm the opposite. This is a tougher fight. I figured he'd handle ODLH and Hatton. It is possible he can KO Cotto I think though.

It'll be his biggest win I think, beating an elite WW like that who is still physically prime. Cotto is maybe a bit damaged, maybe mentally, but I don't think it matters in this fight so it does not diminish Pacquiao beating him. Cotto would probably be affected if he were fighting another bigger, pressure fighter, but this fight is pretty even I think.

I would not bank on Cotto being damaged for this fight if I was anyone! He hits hard, even for a WW. Big challenge for Pacman. One really good thing for Pac is that this is the 3rd straight fight he has trained for a left-hand dominant fighter who fights from an orthodox stance. He has the style down well now.

He should be economical while using his improved foot movement. I'd tell him to conserve punches, but make them big ones. Make an impression on Cotto early. I notice Cotto likes to always set his feet for his big punches. That means Pacman's excellent foot movement could be even more difficult for him.

I think Pacman's foot speed will benefit him more than even his hand-speed in this fight. Also, that will make it hard for Cotto to body punch. He doesn't want to be getting hit with those, but he's good at taking away the left hand now. Very aware of it now.

Thats just the fact of the matter......Pac deserves his props if he beats Cotto.......but lets not go overboard either......we've already seen he's very beatable, and certainly the best Welterweight in the world is'nt Cotto, its Mayweather.

yeah, its really hard to pick the winner, but because i'm a pac fan and i think his speed will prevail against cotto's power, i chose him to win this fight. more of a stoppage due to cut, but imo a KO is possible, but pac has to land many bombs. i don't think he can do a hatton on miguel. but because cotto is the bigger/stronger (i think his power is a bit underrated), 1 good punch can send pac to the canvass, and it's over. i'm thinking of 2 scenarios here: 1. pac ahead on points then eventually knocking him out (or the ref stopping the fight) or 2. pac ahead on points, until cotto caught him with a bomb.

That's the big uncertainty. What will happen if/when Cotto lands flush on him? One thing that is making it most difficult to pick the winner I think. If not for that, I would be a lot more confident Pac wins. I am having the feeling of favoring Pacman once again though.

    NO !!!!

Because if that was the case then there would have had to have been some foul play involved.
There is no way, no way in hell that Pacquiao can beat Cotto on a level playing field.

For Manny to win he would need more than " Tijuana " plaster of paris in his gloves....maybe a horseshoe for good luck.
Even if Roach slips one of Manny's banana peels in Cotto's corner...
Even if the Ref took an early anonymous deposit to call the fight...

The only way Manny can win this fight is in the dreams of his fans...
Manny will lose by KO in the 7th !!!!!!

P.S. I'm not a Pac hater....I'm just giving an objective and realistic viewpoint!!!

I'm a Cotto fan but if Pac straight up beat Cotto (I seriously doubt it), he is definitely for real.
