Why Floyd would never fight Mosley.

    As I watched Mayweather vs Judah, I noticed how easy Judah won at least 5 of the first 6 rounds. Judah has been known for losing stamina or gassing up after 5 or 6 rounds, due to it he lost his fight before this one against Baldomir.
    Judah is like an imcomplete version of Shane Mosley.
    If you watched Shane vs Margarito you can easily notice that Shane is
    as fast as Judah, he has never been ko and his stamina allows him
    box 12 rounds and still finishes strong. Shane is not a light weight such
    as Hatton, Marquez or Pacquiao. His reach and size are as big as Mayweather`s.
    Mayweather would never fight a guy like Mosley.
    If he ever will, I believe it would be like the first 6 rounds of Judah
    vs Mayweather but in a 12 round version. I see mosley winning at
    least 8 rounds of 12 and probably sending Mayweather to the canvas
    at least once. What is your opinion ?

    Yeah but most people believe that Mayweather knew this would happen (he stated after the fight that Judah is a 4 round fighter) and so he tried to ride out the storm, let Judah gas then put the pressure on. It seemed to work although it was pretty rough at the start for Mayweather. Mosley has no such stamina problems or mental problems either so Mayweather would start pot shotting him from the offset.

    I agree Sweetray, but PBF handpicks his fights, and have done so for years.

    Damn, Judah was doing a great job early on. I can't believe he stepped down the pace. I agree Shane will give Floyd a lot of problems, he has speed and power. I'm not sure about the kd though and I think Floyd takes this via SD or UD, pot shot all night.

    I don't agree with the poster at all.. it's not just that Judah gassed, it's because Mayweather figured him out and broke him down. Did you not see the ferocity with which Mayweather went to the body.

    Judah and Mosley are also two completely different fighters which you allude to yourself. Judah is more of a counter puncher and Mosley a boxer puncher.

    Mayweather v Mosley would be great but the edge has to go to to Money. He has every advantage except for power, but Mosley is not going to be able to hit Mayweather with anything as clean as he hit Margarito.

    It looks like you need to know more about Judah history of gassing up
    in his fights. If Judah could hit Mayweather why not Mosley who is as fast ?

    I like how you picked the fight with Margarito as an example of mosley quick hands?

    What happened in the cotto and mayorga fight?:lol:

    I agree. ''Mosley is a beter version of Judah'' is such a vague and simplistic assumption and doesn't translate to separate boxing fights. They have alot of differences, not least having opposite stances. Judah had a good first 4 rounds by the way. 3-1 Harold Lederman had it. He struggled after that. Judah fell apart because Floyd stepped it up and became the boss in there.

    Judah felt apart because he has a tendency to do so. Juat watch him against Baldomir and Cotto and a few other fights.
