LMAO @ people voting for Puerto Ricans

Filipinos outnumbered Mexican in all 3 of the Morales fights
and Mexicans heavily outnumbered PR in the Margo/Cotto fight

    no they werent

you are confusing more loud and noisy with attendance

however Hatton fans did clearly outnumber Pac fans by a significant margin, my old friend who went said it looked like 3 to 1 for Hatton in there

On a similar note, my girl and I were discussing how many breakups this fight would cause... :think

She's already mad at me for rooting for Cotto, lol.

This should not even be a question, the West Coast is flooded with Filipinos. Nevada has a neglibile amount of Puerto Ricans, coupled with a strong Filipino population. In California Filipinos outnumber Puerto Rican like 10 or 12 to 1, even in Los Angeles County which (with Hawaii) has the highest concentration of Puerto Ricans west of Chicago there are only 40,000-50,000. Compare that to over 300,000 Filipinos in L.A. county, and over a million in California total. This is not counting the hundreds if not thousands of Filipinos that will come over from the Philippines directly.

With or without a Pacquiao fight . . . Vegas is flooded with Filipinos going into the casinos . . . so I WOULD GUESS . . . Flips would out number the Ricans.

The thing about that is, the MGM Grand Garden Arena only has a seating capacity of 17000. So it would suck to make the flight yet not be able to enter the arena to watch live.

My wife is half filipino-half boricua. Am puertorrican so right now my household is 1 1/2 to 1/2 for Miguel Cotto.

There's no debating this, it's going to be on the west coast! Bring them to the east and the story would be a whole diff one!

Cali has a greater population of Phillipinos than Ricans (East Coast) there will probably be more Mexicans than anyhing I would guess as they are rabid fans and this is a great scrap.

Yes but since the fights in Vegas those #s dont count. On the West Coast its probably 300,000 Boricuas and 2,700,000 Pinoys. Im sure Boricuas will be traveling, but it wont be close Pinoys will out number them at least 2to1.
