Well Farmboxer, everything Dirrell did wrong he did so because he is black.

Didn't fight toe to toe? Cause he is black.
Didn't KTFO Froch? Cause he is black.
Clinched? Black.

I hate to say it, but Andre was mentally weak. He has some of the same gifts as Roy Jones but the thing that put Roy above all the other gifted boxers was his mental tenacity, to adjust and overcome.

I really hope Andre gets enough confidence to truly impose his game on Abraham. Abraham is definitely beatable technically but his defense, power and will are huge obstacles. If Andre uses his God given abilities to his fullest and fixes his leaky defense, he can beat everyone.

Nope, but he did beat Froch and the decision was poor, if not exactly Whitaker/Chavez levels of theft.

Roy could throw awesome combos. Dirrell can't or doesn't.

 

Yeah - about half the times that he fell, Froch was nowhere near him - maybe you should rewatch? One time he hit a huge hole in the air and did a pirouette and fell to the canvas.

 

The vast majority of boxing people who I've spoken to since the fight are perfectly happy with the decision. It's just a minority of disgruntled fans, largely American who are crying foul.

The only time he went down without Froch anywhere near him was when he took a wild swing at Froch, stepped in too far, and his front foot slipped and he went down to his knees. Hardly the first time that has ever happened.

I've already watched the fight twice. That's at least one too many.

Abraham is nothing special at 168 and Taylor was done.

You will discover that Dirrell is Froch's toughest fight in this tournament .

 

I agree with this, totally! In addition, Dirrell is also lobbying for a similar angle when AA comes across the pond to face him. I pity AA having to chase that weasel Dirrel all over the ring, especially when the judges will be looking for any reason to screw AA.

Kessler and AA are going to need KO's in their next fights. Showtime network will not allow European fighters to dominate.
