for those that don't know who anthony is, he is the most supreme athlete in sporting history(his own words).

he has been saying for the last few of years that the upcoming year he will be fighting the leading boxers and show the world how much of a gifted boxer he is but he fights south american cab drivers instead most of the time.

he claims that pavlik, hopkins, calzaghe and co. are avoiding him.

last time mundine went overseas he was ko'd by sven ottke, who anthony boldly stated punched like a girl.

has this fight scarred him for life?

tell us your opinions of mundine?

Well I do know who Mundine is. I cant speak for the rest of the world, but I think I can honestly say that even hardcore boxing fans in the US and MEXICO could really careless who Mundine fights or what he says. Kind of like asking a australian "does the rest of the world laugh at Antonio Pituala too"

Of course, it's always the same **** with him.

"Next fight I'll fight this world champion or this superstar." He always ends up fighting taxi cab drivers. Only to tell us he's finally going to step up in his next fight....against a NY taxi cab driver.

Mundine was a very good and gifted boxer, but he wasted his shots at greatness. He fought Ottke and would have won, but for that freak very very lucky templeshot that ended the fight. He put up a very good show against Kessler, but seemed reluctant to take the chances needed to actually win the fight. Whether this was because of Kesslers constant pressure or because Mundine feared another Knockout loss I don't know.

I rate him ass a good boxer and in his prime he was a legitimate SMW contender. This was backed up by his ring rating.

The world greatest athlete ever? I don't think so...

I don't even pay attention to when he fights anymore, he is clearly never going to fight anyone remotely world class. Plus when you watch at the pub in Aus you have to put up with partially ******ed people cheering on Mundine and talking garbage, as though its a feat to beat up a clubfighter.

Mundine is a top 7 MW and was a top 5 SMW.....very good skill, great evasion and combos.....he has won a few vacant titles and had a few big fights...his best fight was his win against Danny Green and his loss to kessler.

Mundine is a huge $$$$$$ maker and pocketed $500,000 for his first fight....a world record :deal

He wont be P4P number 1 anytime ever but talks the talk but will only walk the walk if a title shot comes up he thinks he can win :deal

No. Mundine is a good boxer and has accomplished a lot considering he started fighting late. He's not the greatest athlete in the world, but he is a great athlete. You have to be a great athlete to accomplish what he did. There are a lot of "name" guys he can beat. He'll never get the chance, but he's had a good career so far.
