Maybe. However, probably not against Gamboa.

I agree. Unless, Gamboa understimated Bernabe and try to brawl with him because the kid has the power to knock him out.

It depends whether he punches during a round or after it.

I'm a Filipino and a huge Fan of Gamboa. Like I said earlier, I believe Gamboa has the potential to replace pac when PAC retires.

But I'm a Filipino first before a boxing fan! I'll be rooting for the heavily underdog Concepcion when they meet!

He can as long as he throws more combinations

Maybe for a vacant title or against a weak champ, but not against Gamboa.

I say there's a very high possibility coz as you pointed out, Concepcion is only 21 years old and he's already starting to fight in world title fights...

i used to have high hopes for bernabe concepcion. until i saw him in the fight with leuvano. he sucked in that fight. no movements, no combination punching, no attacks. he's just basically waiting and letting leuvano dictate the pace.

maybe in the future but definitely not right now. that luevano fight showed he either wasn't ready or he really isn't that good. i mean, he did nothing against the crafty luevano that would convince me he can beat any of the world champions at either super bantam or featherweight. i think all the top contenders in those divisions would school or KO concepcion.

the fight i want to see badly is Antonio Escalante vs. Bernabe Concepcion. in my view, escalante would wear his ass down with those vicious body shots and either win a wide UD or TKO.
