Ok guys so since i have decided to try some amatuer boxing i really need to get serious about my diet, as i have learned here, there is just no way around it and what you put in your body is as important as anything you do in the gym, im in great shape but i know there is lots of untapped energy in my body that im not taking advantage of and the culprit is my "eat anything i want" diet. For the last couple of months ive been trying and eat less fast food, and more of balanced meals with more fruits and vegtables, which has really improved my daily energy,( espically just eating breakfest!) i have done lots of research and purchased some foods that im hoping willing help even more let me know what you think of my diet so far, or of any other natrual foods out there, or even reciepts? thanks For breakfest i eat some whole grain cereal and sprinkle some wheat germ over it, for snakes throught the day i take some friuts and eat them at work, drink lots of fresh filtered water throught out the day,for lunch i eat leftovers, lots of beefs and rice, ect i also take some vitamins (omega-3 fats) and drink whey protien shakes after a good workout, i really want to cleanse my whole system and start fresh i have bought some blueberries (Acai?) Green Tea, Walnuts that im going to add to my diet what do you guys think so far? Where do i find foods with Chai? Flaxseeds? Am i eating the right things? Any input will be appricated, i should be off to a decent start sincei have never really eaten sugars, candy, or drank coffee or soda. in my life! thanks

Just cut out the fast food completely. It's not even really food. Save those calories for something worth while.

    Chai is a tea.

Flaxseed is good, but if you're taking omega-3 supplements you probably don't need them. But if you want to eat them just buy them whole (you can get them in the baking asile) but you have to grind them in a coffee grinder for your body to get any benefit from them. I sprinkle the grounds on salads or toast with peanut butter.

Thanks Amy for the tips, i know i need to stop eating fast food completely but its hard cause i love to eat out and at work they are always ordering out, so im trying to slowly phase it out, im doing better though i used to order out bout 3-4x week now mayb 1-2x times, and all this new knowledge is having a positive effect cause i no longer look at fast food the same, at times im almost disgusted by it! Now the thing is, i live in Chicago and we have many great resturants in this great city, i can still enjoy the fine dining once in awhile if i cut the fast food out totally right? LOL:dead

Any supplement you take wont come close to what you could eat and get those vitamins

raw carrots, spinach, wheat bread(if you will eat it), lettuce, Mangos, Blueberries, Strawberries, Salads(organic dressing).

Now I may have went a little hard core but all I ate were
Mangos, Oranges,Blueberries, Strawberrys, kelp, turnup greens, spinach, Carrots regular lettuce dump salmon or tuna on it.Throw the flax seeds on it too. I preffered salmon because of the calcium content. Hardwork out Make some salmon or fish for protein great omega fatty acids.

I donot know what is in these foods I were eating that help with cuts but cuts actually begin to seal up as soon as it occurs and gone within days. I cant pin point which foods did this because i hated the diet it was nasty as hell. But I will be back on it soon

becareful if you want to remain a certain weight. I lost 25 pounds in 1 month.
