How about Judah v Williams? Zab's not gonna get a much bigger fight at this point, and Williams needs to get back in the ring and keep active after the Pavlik debacle. That's assuming he can get back down to 147. Zab can wake up, climb off the canvas and take his cheque with little fuss.

Judah's got a fight against some Scrub on December 6th. Of course this could fly out the window and he takes the fight against Paul Williams.

Judah-Spinks or Judah-Campbell makes more sense.

He should fight a tune up in Dec then fight the winner of Khan/Salita

Didn't know he had a fight lined up, just looked it up, turns out it's against that Adailton De Jesus guy who Gamboa knocked out early in his career. Embarassing.

I know a "world" champion who fought in the last twelve months and only netted £600 after expenses including medicals.

AT least he collects 10,000 after IRS and New York mob gets their money back.

My guestimation is at this rate, he fights 1 scrub a week he'll be out of the 2 mil hole in 3 years.

Why do people get such a kick out of fighters' financial problems? I just don't get it? A lot of fighters after giving it all in the ring end up broke without a dime after it's done and there's nothing funny about it.

If anyone believes Zab Judah earns $2m pay days anymore then they are more stupid than i thought.

Each contestant of the Super Six is getting around $ 900,000 ea per fight.

So why would a spent, shot has-been like Zab be earning more than that ?

because a fighter shouldnt be demanding more than his worth. ie See the biggest whiners about money in the sport. aka Nate Campbell and it seems lately Zab Judah.

Remember Nate Campbell just filed bankruptcy.

Yoel Judah told everyone that 250,000 isn't enough for his son to fight on a Mayweather undercard? You're f'n kidding me as a blue collar fan in this economy. Remember Zab is the same guy that was throwing 100 dollar bills along with Money May at night clubs recently to pander to their local fans and demographic.

I understand that boxers or athletes in general from impoverished backgrounds don't have a concept about money and personal responsibility. They spend their time fighting and training. And then they blow it all on women and fancy stuff like cars and big houses. At least when you make enough dough, hire an accountant and a good lawyer. All you got to do is look at Mike Tyson and see that a promoter and a manager will f*ck you up.

Its not just boxers but people in general who aren't taught good money handling skills. I don't feel sorry for people who make more money than the average person would ever make in their entire lifetime and blow it at the corner in street craps. I'm not expecting Zab to become a finance major but at least pay other people to handle your bizz while you're training. Then hire another person to watch THAT person.

Zab still has his name and his fans in NY. If he could just focus and stay active, there's still an outside chance he could put a run together with some kind of payday at the end. Really not sure whether it should be at 140 or 147 though, he's too small to bang with beasts like Clottey and Margo at 147, but he looked pretty drained against that scrub he fought earlier this year (can't remember which undercard it was...)

He's not beating Bradley, and he's probably not even beating Urango. Best option might be to try to get Berto in the ring. Andre seems to be taking the Taylor route for his defenses...
