I agree with what you say about Cotto.

But bringing up the Mayorga loss?Vargas was shot for real in tat fight and I don't really use the word shot often.

 

It's been said a million times, and should be repeated here AGAIN: disrespecting a fighter doesn't make your fighter look any better. That wasn't Vargas in there against Mayorga, that was a bloated fat dude looking for a payday.

I respect Cotto, he's a good fighter, plenty of heart and courage and he fights the best. That said, Vargas was on his way to winning the first fight against Mosely, Cotto just BARELY handled an OLD Mosely. You try to talk **** about Vargas, and that just forces people to come in and remind you of **** like that.

If Cotto goes life and death with an OLD Mosely, what happens if he had to face someone of the caliber of a YOUNG Mosely? He gets stopped, that's what. And he would probably get stopped by a prime OLDH, Quartey, Vargas and Trinidad too. Vargas was winning the fight against Trinidad until the low blows started, he put up a hell of a fight against an OLDH who would probably just blow out Cotto, he beat Winky... ****ing wake up.

 

I thik you're wrong about pacman, hes not going to retire or go back down after his fight with Cotto, it will be a war. You are going to be surprized how good Pacquaio is going to look at welter weight. After a loss to Cotto he will continue to fight

I remember when GATO Sparred wit Ricky Hatton,,, he was definitly showing off and he even did a stupid turn around move that Ricky mimic'd as a joke.

 

cotto is such a classy guy that I don't want anyone between him and pac losing. two of my current favorites and i would have preferred that this fight would be a draw or a close one where both would not suffer serious beatings. but yet again, a close fight would just have people demanding a rematch.

 

Cotto should have mimicked Randall Bailey.

 

Fernando vargas is a HATER,,, why does anyone give a **** what that slurring idiot says? He can hardly speak.

 

What was so controversial about the fight? Cotto beat him. Fight is not difficult to score.

 

Cotto really didnt say anything bad about Vargas, he simply stated the facts. Who is Vargas at this moment in boxing? FACT. Vargas had his time in boxing. FACT.

As to you bringing a comparison to Mosley facing both opponents we know Mosley is in a different level at welterweight. That is his weight were a true Mosley is almost unbeateable with exception of his Forrest fights as to fighting at 154. Mosley has even stated that is were he belongs. The first Vargas fight with Mosley was close, and you forgot to mention what happend in the second fight. Remember this happend at 154.

Vargas was a great warrior and much respect but its time to move on. Cotto simply stated the truth, nothing wrong with that.
