all you hear is if clottey would of threw more punches, same with mosley they would of stopped cotto. there is reson they dont throw those extra punches and its because cotto can hurt them if they give him the openings. when hes moving around those last rounds with his hands down he's trying to lure them into something big. cotto is a true boxing warrior and deserves a lil bit more respect from the fans of this great sport. and corley was on his way out when that "hometown stoppage" nonsense happen. that was his second knee to get away from being pulverized. he didnt fight back he layed down twice.

Corley's fight with Cotto was pretty ****ed up. That referree definitely played the *****, but no matter how you look at it, he was going to get stopped anyway. The body shots were starting to get to him and he was folding before our eyes.

Well done General Forum. There is not sufficient evidence to say Cotto is now damaged goods. I'm very glad this poll has been so one-sided because I don't want anything to belittle the FOTY.

Obviously not. Clottey is a very good fighter and would give anyone in the division a hellacious battle. Cotto won (it was a draw on my scorecard) with a badly damaged eye from the third round (?) onwards.

Its was an impressive display given the opposition and the cut

I say he is slightly past his prime now but not in any way anything other than an elite level welterweight. You can't get brutalized the way he has been without losing a little something but he's far from shot. He's a tall order for any welterweight and he's still a champion.
