Direll is lightening fast

I can just see Kessler throwing that solid jab/right straight down the pipe for as long as Froch can take it.

 

He's not as fast as Roy Jones but he is faster than Dawson.

 

Thinking of the Dirrell-Froch fight is painful, as yea, he is fast, skilled, and slick, and yet, with all of these tools, he didn't do enough to quell the possibility of any ambiguity or room for argument in a bout against a plodding brawler several classes beneath him (in terms of potential).

I agree with this. I admire Dirrels speed and skill, but I admire the guys like that who can also knock the other guy TFO more.

I think it shows WHY Dirrel lost to Froch.
Notice how all these guys fight then go rewatch the Dirrel Vs Froch fight. What is different?

He needs a new trainer.
I might get slagged but I think he needs Freddy Roach. Someone who can make him fight but still using his speed and footwork.

 

Dirrell looked very fast against a fighter whose greatest weakness is lack of speed. Our eyes can tell us littel about absolute speed when we watch two objects moving, our brain will always compare their speed relative to each other. RJJ would have looked like lightening against Froch.

Let' see how Dirrell's speed will work against Abraham, who doesn't look fast because of his style but is very effective and aexplosve when he wants to be. Abraham is not at all clumsy in his movement like Froch.
