ITS OVER FOLKS. No more Andrew Golata, this train has jumped the track and there are no survivors. Please bury all Golata posts. My gosh he made Adamek look like Clubber Lang..... GOODNIGHT ANDREW!
It's about time. Those Golotards in Golota Express Thread have just committed mass suicide. This content is protected
No in all seriousness he did beat Mike Mollo, Orlin Norris, Kevin Mcbride and whooped Tim witherspoon who was coming off a loss to Jimmy Thunder. Impressive wins to say the least:rofl
Screw the haters, JETSKI. Being a Golota fan took loyalty and commitment. It's EASY to root for a winner. Golota fans have character, and don't let anyone ever tell you differently. :smoke
Thats OK...the haters don't bother me (as much) anymore. I saw JC put up a Golota retires thread. So he made an announcement already? I figured he would. Its time... ((((((((((((GO GOLOTA))))))))))))) One last time...
Im not a hater, I can put golotas career into perspective unlike you zealot polish golota nuts. The guy was a B, B- fighter along the lines of a Jameel Mcline type figher. Looks good against limited opposition and then crumbles under the bigger fights. Except Golota was a dirty fighter and Mcline wasnt. He fouled and went low reularly. Dispicable tatctic and he deserves ridicule for that. Additonally, he was given way to many title shots considering he never really beat anyone. His bets wins arent even worth mentioning.
Golota was robbed of the title against that cheating slug Ruiz. ****, he had that glorified clubfighter on the canvas twice, got another point deduction, landed MORE punches - and STILL they gave the decision to Ruiz. Unbelievable.
Spare us your 'holier than thou' attitude. Say what you want about Golota, he was one of the most exciting heavyweights there was over a ten year period. Do Golota fans tend to believe he could have done much more? Hell yeah. The same can be said of a lot of fighters. In the end, Golota made a pretty nice living for himself for someone who came to the US with intentions of becoming a truck driver. Along the way he made a lot of fans and had a lot of memorable moments. I wish him the best in retirement. :smoke
He was robbed against both Byrd and Ruiz, IMO. Regardless, I thought those fights acted as redemption after the Tyson debacle. Nobody's claiming Golota was perfect. His imperfections were on full display for all to see, but that added a certain human element to his career that attracted a very loyal fan base. His life story both in and outside the ring would make one hell of a movie. :smoke
I don't hate Golota but I hate those fans who are constantly egging him to fight even though his time for retirement is long overdue. I hope he finally hangs up his gloves this time.
You simply cannot belittle the butchery Golota rest upon Bowes cranium, no matter the outcome. You cannot simply ignore the relevance of those rounds of savagery and the opposition at hand. No matter the low blows, Andrew was a force those nights and if you had no agenda, you would recognize those achievements before both dismissing and disparaging the man. That is why I so seldom visit message boards, too much personal egotism and not enough critical revision. If we were out for a cold pint, I would admit the mans many shortcomings but would surely have you agree to the brief moments of sheer brilliance. Peace.
