What are your FOTD from the 60's to the 00's?

Please pick one fight, and a runner up for each decade.

As far as the 60's are concerned, the only thing that comes to my mind is the Clay/Liston fight because Clay shocked the boxing world by beating Liston for the title. The bigger shocker was Clay knocking Liston out w/ one punch in the 1st round where a lot of people say Liston took a dive.

I think Ali-Frazier 3 is the best of all time, if you take into account historical signifigance, entertainment, skill level and the quality of fighters on show.

From a pure entertainment perspective, Corrales-Castillo 1 is the best, IMO.

Riddick Bowe vs Evander Holyfield I was far and away the best fight of their trilogy, and arguably the greatest Heavyweight title fight of all time. Why anyone would pick their rubber match over it has just become one of life's many unknown mysteries.

    80's Hagler vs Hearns

90's Tua vs Ike (one of the most underrated fights maybe ever)
Runner up imo is Bowe vs Holyfield 1

    2000's Corrales vs Castillo 1

i think ali-farzier 1 is the better fight---there was a knockdown (and a spectacular one at that) and they were both younger and in their prime window.....manilla is an incredible fight and IMO a close second, but the first one they were both undefeated, young and their antipathy was at its' highest undiluted by years of festering and other tough fights (Foreman took a lot out of both of them)..
