Bruno, Naz, Haye and Khan never fought for British titles.

    Who else?

Aye, unlucky not to be given a shot. Talented fighter, seemed to be cast out and obviously not helped that the war broke out, only a few times between '38 and '41.

i was reminded watching the moore v rhodes fight, when they said that moore was salfords only british champ...that former world title challenger, the viking, steve foster sr, never won a british title...always amazed me that he didnt.

She had lost it when she married Alec, never knew she boxed though!;)

Although a European champ Jim McDonnell never won a British title; Richie Woodhall was never a British champ.

khan refuses to fight for a british title because he didn't want to fight Thaxton or Murray

I disagree.... it is all about the greenback....$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$£££££££££££££$$$$$$$$$$$$ in Financial terms a British Title did not make business sense to him...:good

I heard that Murray was offered £100k to fight Khan and knocked it back...:think

I am sure that there will be punters on here in the trade who may have heard similar, if it is true, then Murray may have missed the boat with Khan until he is brining something to the negotiating table...:yep

Khan would have boxed the ears off Thaxton... to fast and to quick...:bbb
