He has said before that he rated Hatton highly, with the obvious caveat of a career long struggle with southpaws, a tendency to walk onto big shots and a lack of ring intelligence. Pretty much an ideal opponent for Pacquiao.
I thought it was a great episode! Cotto seems completely calm and focused on the job. I think he can take Pacmans shots and wear him down. I dont think all the arguing was staged. The disagreements between Ariza and Koncz have been heavily publicised and it is clear Koncz and Roach hate each other. If they did stage Pac and Roach arguing, what would be the reason? How would it benefit them except maybe Cotto taking the fight lightly. However this is the biggest fight of Cotto's career and he is up against the p4p #1. He aint going to take it lightly no matter what. I know 24/7 is all hype and not much reality but it seems far fetched and pointless to stage an argument for the cameras.
I though this episode was ok but pretty boring compared to ones involving the hightly contraversial Money Mayweather.
Dunky, i can't stand Floyd and thought every single 24/7 featuring him was stage managed and dramatised to such an extent that it was even Floyd we were watching. He's a pathetic little no-mark with zero charisma and a bunch of poor man's trash talk. james Toney was a dick head, but at least he had a personality. Floyd's a tedious little ****.
i think the same....but 'm not shouting it, cause i said the same thing about hatton. i wish they didnt do the 145 thing...if they want to beat cotto, then beat a proper cotto, not a handicapped one...and i know cotto can do 145 easy, but its for a welterweight belt...and this **** shouldnt be allowed when world belts are up for grabs...i know both agreed and theres fook all wbo can do...but i would prefer it to be 147, it'll be a blotch if he beats cotto and people talk back in years to come "ah..but he made cotto come down to 145 in that fight, remember?"
Floyd sounds like a insecure little child, but he knows how to market himself and play the bad guy, its really only a act, Floyd was the best fighter in the world and couldn't flies or get any interest in him, give him credit for doing what he has to do to cross over.
IMO Thats the 1st 24/7 episode where they have tried to mislead us with regards to both fighters fans. One minute they are showing team Cotto all chilled out and looking lazy whilst they are relaxing at poolside half asleep then it shows a clearly staged semi fall-out between Pac and Roach (Freddy coulod have got away with his crap acting due to the fact we couldnt see his face but Manny was unable to hide his smile and will certainly win no oscars for his acting)Besides, Freddy always starts the 24/7 series by claiming training conditions are not too ideal. all imo of course lol
