Nope, sorry, Marquez can't adapt as much as Hopkins. If he could than he would figured out a way to make the fight with Mayweather more competitive and that's because he's only a great counterpuncher.

    :rofl:rofl:rofl

This is a pretty good question really. It's hard to answer because they are SUCH different fighters. Obviously Pacquiao's one punch power is far superior, and high caliber opponents defeated is starting to swing his way, but all around though I think Joe's style was trickier to figure out. His stamina was also awesome.

    Joe but barely.

calzaghe is adaptive, hes got fast hands, solid chin, throws over a 100 punches a round, punches from every angly there is, watch the kessler fight or lacy, if u think he doesnt look then u must be stupid?

    Umm easy ... Pacman ...

Both are amazing in these areas
    stamina
    speed
    footwork & movement

    Pacman is better with
    power
    accuracy
    not getting kd'ed lol

    calzaghe has
    better workrate

Overall , it's easy to me to say it's pacman... But no disrespect to Joe , he Is one of the greatest fighters of this generation

And so what if he said Pac would beat Quartey?what makes your opinion better than him?

I Picked Quartey to beat him but who knows what wouldve happened, nobody can be sure of the outcome all everybody can do is guess and his guess is as good as yours cause theres no way to know who's right.

You can't really compare a 40 year old Hopkins to a prime Marquez. Styles make the fight. Taylor beat Hopkins twice just with activity. Cal is king of activity throwing 100 punches a round. With that logic, Cal should have won easy. Pacquaio seen more styles and fought beter boxers.

That's like saying 'Yeah, this guy picked Pacquiao to beat Sugar Ray Robinson, yet it's okay because we don't know what would of happened and all our opinions are equal'.

It's called debate, that's what we're here for. Not to be a ***** and sit on the fence and say 'We don't know what would've happened, nobody can tell'.

Since when is Quartey even close to SRR?

And if its a debate like you say and it is than hes entitled to his opinion he doesnt have to agree with you .

I dont see you having a problem when some fraud groupie makes some "ridiculous" pick.

Nice post. Also, pac didn't have great fighters like Hopkins and Roy wither. Cause Joe couldn't beat neither one in their primes.
