What's the card like? edit : Sorry found it elsewhere. Is this it? Looks weak! heavyweight Nikolay Valuev vs David Haye 12 heavyweight John Ruiz vs Adnan Serin 10 super middleweight George Groves vs TBA 10 cruiserweight Alexander Frenkel vs TBA 8 cruiserweight Francisco Palacios vs TBA 8 heavyweight Sergey Lyakhovich vs TBA 8 heavyweight Oleg Platov vs Cengiz Koc 8 heavyweight Edmund Gerber vs Shawn McLean 8 heavyweight Kubrat Pulev vs TBA 6 middleweight Marcos Nader vs TBA 6
It's a Sauerland show, so **** Highlights are George Groves in 10 rounder, and John Ruiz against some bum. Bar the Groves fight, everything on the card is either Heavyweight or cruiserweight.
I'm only watching for Haye and Groves. Ruiz and Lyakhovich are the sort of fighters that plague the modern heavyweight division. I doubt either of them will come in genuine 100% shape.
Why not match Ruiz with Lyakhovich and Palacios with Frenkel. That would have been much better. Instead the 4 of them get bums.
I said this ages ago. UFC wouldn't do this. Not like Ruiz v Lyakhovich is even that good but it's a contender match up with some worth for the winner.
Ruiz yes. But I still; think Liakhovich can at least be entertaining with the right opponent if not meaningfull(which I doubt).
They can also watch it for free,on there main BBC type channel ARD1 (programme start time 9.15 British time) ,they also have the Super Six for free and the Klitschkos for free too which I dont know wether thats a good thing or not Life aint fair:verysad
Im guessin if there programme starts at 9.15 the main event will be around 10.15-10.30 i think thats what time Vlad vs Chagaev started on sky.
Wlad v Chag was pretty much bang on 10pm. I remember sky coming on air and going straight to Gelsenkirchen where they'd missed the start of Buffer's intros. Seems as though sky's programme starts at 8.30, at least according to this. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,12947,00.html
