Benn wouldnt KO Toney and he wouldnt outbox him either,i really cant see him beating Toney. Toney catches Benn coming in with with a right hand and sparkes him.
First, Toneys resume is about as good as Eubanks and Benns records together. Secondly, styles make fights, and Benns style is just right for Toney (or all wrong if you're a Benn fan). Power is the last thing to bother Toney with. Eubanks actually would have had a much better chance at beating Toney than Benn had. Toney would be the favourite ragardless - he was the man at SMW, but he was inconsistent. At the end of the day, neither Benn nor Eubanks wanted a piece of Toney.
How do you figure? The style matcup favors the master counter-puncher in Toney, and Toney is obviously a more proven fighter at a higher level. How do you see this happening.
****in hell that was hilarious.....James Toney was so funny, everything was so calm and then he appears trash talking like a ******, brilliant.....
RJJ "smashed" Toney?? Actually watch the fight you silly *****, there was nothing even resembling a smashing at any point. Toney is the stylistic Kryptonite for Benn. There is absolutely not a snowball's chance in Hell that Nige could win this... and I'm a bit of a Benn fan. The fight would not be altogether different from Toney v Barkley. When people came to Toney aggressively, that was paradise for him. He is far smarter than Benn, far better offensive and defensive skills, far better infighting. Benn would get gradually broken down and stopped in the late rounds after being sorely outclassed.
Benns face when Eubank says "I've never said anything about Nigel that I couldn't justify" I loved Eubank and Benn but can't see either of them beating Toney to be honest, I give Eubank a better chance but still think Toney would get a UD. Toney would have kicked the **** out of Slappy Joe too, that much goes without saying, even though I just said it.
