Khan picked up a legit world title sooner than the joy dried up of your face post-Prescott. Get over it.
Im not to sure what your on. Anyhow does anyone want give it a go for Jnr Cesar Chavez? Or any fighter with a big name that you could milk without taking real risks.
Good post...However if his career does unfold like this I would be very dissapointed. I cant see these kind of fights taking place though there is too much demand for khan to fight the best so I think maybe 2 easy defences then he will be forced into a unification match or a real risky challenger
You don't want to know. BTW, spending hours of bashing a guy you actually seem to hate is some kind of reverse pyschology, or you're the typical Khan hater (pick your reason), not realizing you are creating as much Khan buzz as a hardcore fan? :think Don't worry, it's a rhetorical question.
No young man i actually don think you know... Parody - spoof or something that can poke fun at something original whilst at the same time trying to prove a point about people going over the top with fighters that love to pull the wool over the masses. Irony - There are so many different definitions of the word bu essentially what i mean when i use such words is the very fact this sort of thing happens in boxing in REALITY yet ive made a spoof of it all.......and its ironic becuase it actually resembles whats going in our sport. In fact what you will get people defending the way a system is even though there are countless flaws in it. If you study social psychology you will have huge amounts of data showing why people defend systems or idea regardless of the mounting evidence against.
Old boy - A little snippet about myself......i do not hate or fear or loathe or whatever word you wish to push on me on any individual i have never had the honour of meeting. Of course you could point out people like Hitler or Tao or whoever else tickles your fancy for someone to hate....yet again i do not hate these men from history or any individual i can think of. Lets get back to boxing...I used Amir Khan becuase he has big rep amongst the media/ cuasual fan and he has the right backing giving him the chance to seek greater pastures. For example Amir will get far more media attention than the likes M. McCallum. I used him to show how someone can be steered towards becoming something they really are not. We want to call someone great or a champion witout fully understanding what that means. In essence i believe we all want to see the best fight the best......of course that dosent always happen and it wont be perfect. Still the fact that a fighter can go through his entire carrer fighting carefully handpicked fighters and possibly never lose or have just a few losses then proclaim himself greater than he actually is with some statiscal bull**** about him being 10 times champion or 8 weight champion takes away the meaning of what a champion is.
Welll done..........i do mention that this hype mantra didnt get the proper attention it deserved.....good boy thankyou
Entertaining read :good. I understand your angle, (and realise this isn't a hate thread). I'll try out JCC jr in a minute. Other fighters with potential: John Duddy, Monk Foreman, David Tua's comeback.
