Floyd Mayweather vs. Kelly Pavlik

This cannot be serious. Floyd should stay away from Pavlik. He fought as equal with DLH but with Pavlik it is just another story.

 

Pavlik would try to counter Mayweather's speed by workrate and aggression. I'd put it down as an even fight. Mayweather would dominate most of the time, but if Pavlik managed to get to Mayweather a few times he'd hurt him. As Taylor recently found out once Pavlik senses weakness he's a great finisher.

That said I don't think Mayweather would touch this one. There are plenty of fighters out there in the lower weights like Hatton who don't pose nearly the threat that Pavlik does.

 

Fun fight while it lasted. PBF could win some early rounds with his speed by sticking and moving but Pavlik who does have a decent jab would eventually time PBF and catch him hurting him and finishing him off. Kelly is just to big for PBF if they were the same size I'd say PBF by UD.

 

Pavlik simply wears Mayweather down using his bulk and catches him late.

 

I am wondering whom the author of this thread would pick if PBF fought Chad Dawson for example.

It is unbelievable how some people on this board are so deep inside PBF's ass. I am just suprised that none of these nutthuggers predicted that PBF would KO Pavlik.

I consider this thread as a total joke.

Floyd UD. Its not like Floyd will cry soon as Pavlik touches him. Floyd has a chance to outbox him but if you thought he was running from Baldo this would be about 10* worse. I think he'd be happy to land 1 punch per round and no get hit once.
