But that's exactly the point, not everyone is like Vargas and Corrales, and in my opinion Nate Campbell showed exactly how rare those kind of warriors are. It's fine that he quit, but you're also making assumptions when you break down the difference between someone quitting because they've given up or because there was something wrong with them. In my opinion, he gave up because he was getting his ass kicked and saw a convienent way to opt out of the fight. Not a big deal, just don't sugar coat his quitting ways :hi:

I mean do you all give Victor Ortiz a pass as well?? That puss quit cause he was afraid he was getting smacked around too much for a kid his age, as he put it, so should we take that at face value as well? It's fine if you quit, whatever, but don't be surprised when your "fans" disprove and question your heart

These people that continue to assert that Nate was getting his ass kicked and looking for a way out are complete morons. Here's the facts. Rounds 1 and 2 were close, and an arguement could be made for either guy in those rounds. Round 3 (the butt occurred about 30 seconds into the round) was statistically lopsided in Bradley's favor, because Nate was defending his eye. Very little actually landed. Watch the tape. Every Bradley flurry had about 8 misses to 1 glancing blow. After the fight, other than the cut, Nate did not have a mark on him. Not a single bruise, no swelling, no redness, NOTHING. Look, Bradley's a decent fighter, but dont get caught up in that "workrate" nonsense. Bradley cant punch. Period. And to make the claim that Nate took 12 rounds of Funeka sending bazooka's at him, yet after 2 rounds of Bradley throwing pillows that somehow Nate got discouraged and headed for the exit is just plain stupid. Just because Bradley goes "AHHH" "AHHH" "AHHH" everytime he throws a punch, well that doesnt mean theres actually anything on it. I was in the corner for the fight, and after both the 1st and 2nd rounds, Nate said the same thing. He said "this boy cant hit for ****".

If people want to be Tim Bradley fans, thats fine. But keep it real. Let the fighter EARN his reputation. There's no need to disrespect Nate just to up your boy Tim. Its ******ed.

I don't buy the argument that Tim Bradley was kicking his ass because he was throwing a 1000 punches.

Nate was taking his shots and smiling about it before the head butt.

After the head butt..after the replay its obvious. Refs don't have the luxury of instant replay. We do. Timothy Bradley is not a dirty fighter but he's an up close fighter where its gonna happen anyways.

I don't think Nate looked shot as people say. He looked just to be a slow starter IMO.

Did Nate Quit? Depends if he's ready to fight for a rematch.

Just a disappointing way to end 2009's boxing match for the sweet science fans.

And isn't that the most unnecessary problem in boxing? The one that should be the easiest remedied? Why shouldn't instant replay for refs be mandatory? Every basketball game, they can re-call it after a replay. In Boxing, why, when it's one guy and it could be a make or break career change do they not have this?

Nate Campbell had every reason to stop the fight. He couldnt see out of his eye for ****s sake. He had a vitreolic hemorrhage.

When your in a fight and you suddenly go blind in one eye, I find it incredulous that you should be criticized for wanting to stop the fight.

Anyone calling him a quitter is an ignorant jackass.

all the "Bradley was handing Nate a beat down" are a load of crap, and onepunch confirmed it as well .. being in the corner

**I also thought the showtime commentators were going borderline hysterical in calling the fight. Yes T-Brad was throwing tons of punches and outworking Nate, but the commentator made it seem as if Tim was on the brink of a stoppage, which wasn't the case AT ALL.

and as far as Peterson and his wise ass comment, we'll see how he deals with Bradley's headbutts come December.
