Trinidad 2000/01 v Pavlik at 160

Pavlik is just all wrong for tito... someone who will outfight him. Tito WILL get hit with Pavlik's shots and will either lose a decision or get KO'd

I really rate tito btw, kick ass power, good chin... just not an in and out fighter which is what would be necessary for him to beat a physically stronger and harder hitting fighter

 

Tito was never a great middleweight, and Pavlik tends to eat smaller guys at 160. P4P Tito was probably a better figher, but we'll decide that somwhere down the road. At 160 Trinidad ends up on the wrong end of a highlight reel KO.

Pavlik is a big,powerful MW,and hes all wrong for trinidad,I seem him breaking down Tito and stopping him 9th,10th Rnd

 

Tito was never really a 160lbs. Won a few fights but he didn't belong there.

 

I'm not sold on Pavlik, to me he is ordinary. He has two good wins over Taylor but thats it. Nothing impresses me from him. Pavlik is good but Tito was great and the 2001 version that fought Joppy would beat Pavlik IMO. That version of Tito was hungry and focused for another championship.

 

What small guys did Pavlik eat up Lockett,RUbio puuleeeseatsch Middleweight wasnt Titos best weight,but obviously Pavlik is not Hopkins. Of course i give Pavlik a chance cuz of his power but bottom line Tito is the much better fighter and Pavlik would be coming right at Tito, Tito could also bang at middle just ask Joppy. I think both guys would trade knockdowns but Tito knocks him out in 7.

 

Felix Trinidad was a 5' 11" welterweight who won 3 fights at 160, and you can't count Mayorga as a legit middlweight. This fight would be WAY easier than Taylor at 160. Pavlik would look like godzilla on steroids.

 

Is this with his margarito wraps or without?
